In the video Rare also announced that they’ll be planning to implement Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat into Sea of Thieves. Rare is set to integrate it into the game this month. For Steam Deck users, they’re also making it compatible to Proton.

The March update also comes with a variety of bug fixes and stability enhancements. An interesting bug that has been happening is that the waters of Sea of Thieves were infested with sharks. Rare is looking to fix this in March.

Players who play Sea of Thieves alone, will now not require Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate. Players play the game solo on Xbox Game Pass or via owning the game will not require an additional subscription.

The March update is set to release on March 14th.

Does Anti-Cheat generally work on SteamDeck handheld?

Has cheating not been an issue before? Because anti cheat is literally one of those things that should be added in a pvp game during the first year.
