I wonder how solo play will be handled, is it a solo game built first then added co-op or the other way around. Also I wonder if doing co-op you need more than 1 to play or if you can have just 1 friend.

I assume they could and should have, it would have avoided all this confusion I guess about what this really is. For a âone more thingâ game I definitely think it shouldnât be a cinematic only.
I think they had to replace Elden Ring, Iâm 100% sure it wouldâve been the last one more thing instead of Redfall. Things mustâve been removed because it was suppose to be 90mins but it was short like 8 minutes or something like that. Next year I can see them doing a gameplay trailer with a release date then after the show do another E3 extended to get more into it.
I think Elden Ring was out of the cards since months, as usual marketing with Bandai is very ephemeral (for example in my country Bandai still send PS review copies for Scarlet Nexus, which has a clear marketing deal with Xbox) and MS would close its show only with long trusted 3rd party (like EA or CDPR).
As I already said, Redfall problem was a combination of new IP and studio with low mainstream recognition, if at least one of these two conditions was true, it would have been received much better.

Telekinesis - Can move objects and reload her weapon.
Lift - Seems very similar to Lift Field from Prey, creating a column of inverted gravity that affects her and allies.
Psychic Parasol - A massive crowd control attack that knocks enemies back (given that she carries a real umbrella around to do this, she also might have other abilities related to it).
Clairvoyance? - She might have been the one hearing voices when the Angler (special vampire) was near. Could be something similar to Wraithâs âVoices from the Voidâ ability in Apex Legends.
Jacob - Sniper
Invisibility - Seems very similar to Zer0âs Decepti0n ability in Borderlands 2. He may also be completely invincible as well while cloaked, since the Angler missed him, or maybe he just dodged in time. Since he had to decloak before shooting, the ability may not allow attacking while invisible.
Raven - Jacob has a bird companion similar to Mordecai from Borderlands 1, but itâs implied to be used for scouting more than for attacking. This is described as a âSpectral Ravenâ in the press release.
Vampiric Eye - Jacobâs right eye is dark similar to a vampireâs, but glows before he takes a shot. Maybe this could be a dead-eye type ability that gives the player better aim when sniping?
Remi - Bot Wrangler
BribĂłn - Remiâs companion bot. The name can mean âRascalâ, âSly Dogâ, âFreeloaderâ, etc in spanish. Itâs seen with an attached machine gun and uses a body slam attack against the Angler. It didnât do anything when Remi needed help, so either it can only follow Remiâs commands, or itâs fully autonomous and also a dick sometimes.
Freeze Gun - Another cool name for this could be the âPhoton Cannonâ. I was tempted to call this the âEasy Breezy Vampire Freezyâ. It seems to use light to temporarily turn vampires to stone and also mildly resembles the GLOO gun from Prey from certain angles.
Bayonet - All of the crewâs standard guns seem to have bayonets attached, suggesting that players can melee when vampires are too close. Unknown if this is a modification that can be made to guns, or if all guns will come like this.
Dev - Researcher/Inventor
Camera - Dev is shown using his camera a couple times in the trailer, and itâs a part of his bio picture, so it could be a part of his kit. Maybe he takes pictures of vampires to research them for bonuses, similar to Bioshock/Prey?
Flare Gun - The effect of the gun isnât shown, but it may be a crowd control attack or a way to set enemies on fire.
Stake Gun - Holds up to three stakes at a time, although it seems that a vampire wonât be taken out unless theyâre distracted.
So far Iâm assuming that each player will be able to use every gun (but have their own unique abilities), similar to Borderlands, although that leaves the question of what exactly Devâs unique abilities are. Iâm hoping heâs a Morgan Yu type character who has a bunch of utility weapons like the Gloo Gun.
Deathloop is led by Dinga Bakaba (Co-Director of Wolfenstein Youngblood and he worked on various roles on the Dishonored games, notably Lead Game Designer on Dishonored 2).
hopefully she has a blink-like ability, dishonored games spoiled me lol, Iâve already seen a âliftâ ability, we will probably have a lot of verticality in this game as well
