I got the impression of a extraction shooter with GotG like characters from the CGI. That was a pretty well made (and expensive) trailer. But the game is a hero arena shooter. Did they pivot here somewhere in the development process?

Maybe. They could have thought they could pull OW where the game may be all multiplayer, they still fill in the lore of these characters. So it can be the case.
Foamstars was practically erased like Forerunners weapons from Halo. I think they’re trying to do more seasonal events but I think they lost motivation. I should check.

Isn’t there Star Wars OW game coming? People would rather try that out over Concord if it’s free and even if it’s not, being Star Wars is enough to grab their attention.
I assume $40 like Helldivers. I am just not sure how they can charge for this when there is most likely better F2P options like Overwatch, Xdefiant, Marvel Rivals, and other games. They def need to make this F2P or it’s DOA

That was pretty lame IMO, Astro Bot was probably the most interesting thing there.
