This is what im basically doing. Sell the weaker items for scrap and dismantle the stronger items for mods and whatnot for later on in the game.

Game is gathering very positive reviews on Steam. I agree with the general feeling. The prologue didn’t grab me as much, it’s only after Rift Town that the game really started resonating with me so much.

Game is good so far been playing around 2 hours.
One thing i will say though…Always online Single player games can go fuck themselves. I’ll let it slide since i’m playing on gamepass. But I’ve been disconnected 3 times randomly and it boots me back to menu. Now i didn’t lose much progress but if this happened in a middle of a boss fight or a tough area and i had to restart i’d be pissed. hopefully they put out an offline mode where you can just fucking play offline and be online in certain areas to do multiplayer stuff.

Would high contrast mode help? I’m not playing right now, so I can’t test it at the moment.
Nope. Tried that last night.
It compares in some ways more so than others. It’s closer to Remnant than Destiny overall, for example. But it much faster paced than remnant and obviously has much bigger emphasis on loot. Mission structure is similar to Remnant as well.

It’s bleh. The story is pretty poor, to the point of actually being entertaining sometimes. There’s some genuinely enjoyable bits of worldbulding and fiction but the game doesn’t spend long on it and focuses on the dreadful script that the protagonist has been given.
Some of the side characters are reasonably interesting.
So what loadout is everyone using?
As a Devastator specializing in the Warden subclass, I have been using an SMG/LMG/AR with shotgun as secondary.
It would be nice if the game actually worked though…
