Outriders [OT] Journey Into the Unknown

Connection issues aside, I’m having a lot of fun with this game.

I’ve been playing it with two other friends and we all chose a different class. I’ll be a lot happier once things settle down from launch week and hopefully the servers / connections are more reliable.

Yes, clearing the cache did the trick! Thank you YoungGrumpyMan

Anyway, is it just me or is the aiming off? Demo felt much snappier. What are good settings for this?

Having an absolute blast playing, started as Pyro but seen a TechnoMancer build that looked amazing so restarted with that class.

I don’t know exactly what it is, but this game just feels like a very 360ish era game and I’m loving it.

No problem!

Me personally, I lowered the look sensibility one point down, and turned off motion blur. Other aiming settings I kept the same because I was finding it sluggish otherwise.

Technoromancer, So far if you position well enough you can take at almost any situation and get the heal buffs, loving it.

When I get to play it’s pretty fun even though it’s super janky. They really need to add a lot more aiming options because the sensitivity is all over the place. Technomancer is really fun though. I’m melting through pretty much everything

I finished it last night rushing to get to the end. Awesome game with some surprises. Game is starting really slow and kind of boring, but gets wild midpoint. 8.5/10 for me, I loved it. And the game is complete with endgame content day one so that’s great !

Edit : I’m at 6 for camera sensitivity and 0.5 for the two others sensitivity settings. It’s not perfect, but I think it’s the best you can do.

Not a thing that should be needed, but if you have an elite controller you can adjust the curve to compensate for it. I managed to find one that is very good for me in this game.

(Shame it isn’t available on regular controllers or able to share with the community like on steam :frowning: )

Any good Technomancer builds?

I was initially turned off by the demo and had no desire to play the game.

Then it got added to game pass and thought I’d give it another go.

Turned off motion blur and turned off that awful camera cinematic shake and I have having a blast.

Having a lot of fun with the game

I do have an elite controller, will mess around with the settings tonight and see if that helps. Thanks.

Honest opinions am I missing anything by skipping the dialogue? Having a blast playing the actual game itself. Just beat the lava spider.

Yeah, my Pyro is really invincible. I’ve played some Expeditions and the other classes kept dying while I was sitting there setting things on fire and recovering.

Also, this happened:

The funny thing is that there is an achievement for doing 1 million damage overall, which I only got near the end of the game.

Now I’m doing 25 million damage for each Expedition that lasts 15 minutes lol

1000 already!! :joy:

I mean, look at this:

I’m playing solo on a level 8 Expedition (enemies are level 41) and I go face to face with three Elites and my life bar barely moves. :stuck_out_tongue:

Was that a double flame wall?

Nice! Yeah, I finally got a chance to play yesterday and made it to level 12 and beat the Molten Spider before calling it a night. I went with the Technomancer class because I always go for classes that allow me to utilize gadgets and/or minions. I’ve played enough of these games though to know late game might be a chore playing solo.

Yep! It can be even three with the right mods. And the wall is also larger and does more damage because of other mods.

And then when I use Overheat everyone who was hit by the Heatwave becomes stone. :stuck_out_tongue:
