I know. If I spent $60, I would be more annoyed and pissed off than what I currently am but since I have GPU until April 30th, im disappointed because I want to play the game but it is what it is.
They need to have dedicated servers. Or let us play off-line if playing solo. Ala Remnant.

As far as I know, it is. That’s what I read on Reddit in the topics with the PR guys for Outriders. I haven’t seen anything that says the servers are dedicated.
Even now, Jez says that Square Enix’s servers suck on the podcast. It does not use Azure Playfab. Jez just said it uses peer 2 peer.

Weird, why would it say Azure PlayFab on the loading screen? 
It’s a toolset, not only servers.

Have no idea. If they were using Azure, I don’t think the game would be off-line right now. lol

I’ll wait until tomorrow to jump back in. Thankfully, I have GPU until April 30th so im not exactly in a rush even though I do want to play the game. lol.
Is the HDR still “meh” in the full game too? The demo looked off with HDR enabled. The base of operations has these raised black levels and the overall look just wasn’t nearly as nice as with HDR just disabled. I also tried changing the ingame setting, but nope.

Yes, it looks somewhat washed out, and there is a lot of unpleasant color banding. Don’t know if you have this as well in your LG CX @peter42O
I haven’t had really any issues with the HDR. I have the LG CX set to HGiG and the Xbox Series X set to 10 bit. The HDR isn’t the best out there but it’s good and I haven’t had any issues. The only game I have ever had an issue with was AC Origins but other than that, I haven’t turned off HDR since then.
Is it me or the HDR in this game not working well like it’s very dark and hard to see in certain scenes. Does anybody have a recommended HDR level or is it best to turn it off for this game?
It’s not a looker, that’s for sure. HDR or not

Problem for me in the demo was that dark areas just didn’t look proper dark. More like dark grey. I’m gonna test it tomorrow with HGIG.
I find HDR more often a big headache then something positive. Some games only look good with DTM where others look better with HGIG. Or a game just looks trash with HDR. It is way too often those damn raised black levels. When I then check those areas with HDR off and it looks great, sigh.
