Yep it is, you just want to keep playing.

I am bothered about performance tho, would love to play it on the next system.

DF said that the patch was a game changer, that there are still parts where it drops. But it’s way more than just a few?

At least in my console, the framerate drops like crazy in open world when you use the Ultrahand ability.

Also standing on top of some building I can tell they have tried their best to mask the really low resolution: they are using FSR 1.0 on top of a sharpening filter and still I can see an insane amount of jaggies, LOD at a distance is awful.

Such a shame Nintendo is fine with old ass hardware, damn.

But I saw this, and maybe it’s worth taking a look at. If this is legit, the difference/improvement is significant. It’s a device called Mclassic.

Controller and Amiibo are still on their way, but at least I got the CE.

Played around 2h and all I have to say is that you can fuse a stick with a minecart. GOTY

About 4 hours in, it’s good. If you loved botw you will love this. If you didn’t this won’t change your mind.

I’m lucky to accidentally woke up just in time for Wario64 dropped a post that Best Buy was selling collector edition. Clicked in and got it. Sure I have to wait until Tuesday, but I got backlog to clear, so it’s fine with me.

Anyone want my copy?

The fact that you start from scratch again hearts, stamina, and inventory wise again. Plus the fuse system doesn’t add much durability early on, has me feeling real sad. I don’t want to have to play 10 to 15 hours again to finally have fun.

Kind of what made BotW not fun for me. It took me 3 tries to get into it and I needed a save editor to basically patch out weapon durability and cheese my way more hearts and stamina.

I finally finished TOTK with 105 hours played. I did all the shrines and uncovered all the depths, and did about half the side quests.

This game was actually a lot better than BOTW for me. I like BOTW but IIRC I considered it about an 8/10 after being done with it. TOTK for me is more like 9.5/10.

The new abilities, all of them have their major uses and are so much fun to play with. It feels kinda nuts when you hold an object in the air, switch to the reverse time to keep it held up, then ascend through the object still being rewinded in the air. Rewinding time was probably one of my favorites lol.

There’s so much breathtaking spectacle in this game. Both in the main quest and when just exploring. I was happy that they actually had unique bosses for each region in the story instead of the same copy pasted elemental thing like in BOTW. And like I said, just exploring and then suddenly encountering one of those 3 headed dragons and then summoning up your own built airship and firing Yunobo at it, and that just happening in the open world, that kind of thing is awesome.

Some negatives I would say are that the shrines felt lazier this time. Felt like half of them were to just find the crystal in the open world and then the shrine itself be one of those freebie ones. Side quests are mostly kind crap again, too much generic “get me 10 eyeballs” stuff with not much substance to them. They do at least have the more in depth ones though, but even there the objectives usually aren’t much better. The Depths also aren’t that good IMO. Not much fun to explore and many copy pasted bases and stuff.

Overall though I think it was an incredible that deserves the review scores it got.

Got through the game with JP text too . Being a Nintendo game, it was on the easier side, only Ganondorf talking gave me trouble lol. He was absolutely awesome in this game btw.

Paint it red, put some coin logos on the back and call it Mario edition. :+1:

So apparently the new Mario won’t have online co-op? They have given it to many games now, you’d think they would do that for this too. But for that to happen Nintendo would have to make sense.

Which they don’t.

I assume a Switch wouldn’t have a good time trying to keep this many actors synced with 4 players online and still have it be serviceable. Smash barely works with 4 players. For the Switch online, “ghost” co-op is probably as good as it gets.

Mario Wonder looks alright. Ill play it because I like Mario games, but if Im being honest, the direct didnt do much for me.

The NSMB series is bang average. This game does nothing for me but ill check it out

After mario maker. Its pointless nintendo doing 2d mario. Focus on 3d.

Yeah and TTYD Remake end almost made me go full nostalgia hype mode and 10/10 the direct lol (was more like a 7, but damn good end)

This is the copy of TTYD I got for Christmas when I was 6, and it became THE childhood game for me.
