It got to be more! Dead Space look. Okay, too much work, but still got to be more. For this however, it looks damn solid.
Damn Power Pros Baseball is only $1. Not even a price mistake, that’s msrp
I guess that’s the highlight of the Nintendo Direct for me personally.
That’s insane, I wonder what’s the catch. MLB Power Pros on the Wii is one of my favourite sports game ever
Just played a couple innings. No catch, it’s Power Pros for only $1 lol
I got zelda for 60 bucks off gamestop a while back. Theyve stopped taking pre orders now. Will raise to 70 as will other retailers. .
Really fucking shitty move by nintendo to increase price this late…either do it in September when retailers were selling pre orders or dont raise price
Now retailers are gonna take a hit too with the cost.
Resolution seems to be 900p. The difference is great, but man I wish Nintendo had announced a actual powerful system by now. I doubt 900p is gonna look great on a 65 inch screen or larger. Guess I’ll have to sit quite far away.
This is where OLED comes in nicely. But yeah, I really hope we will get a successor very soon. Games will still be good, but we’re at the point that gamers are spoiled with performance to be set standard to at least 2K and 60 FPS. I admire their work to make graphic work to the point it won’t age badly, but performance will hunt them.
I bet MP4 will look better than the MP1 remaster, that being said the remaster looks really nice.
It was a good direct for sure. Really excited about Pikmin 4, Bayonetta Origins, ToTK and of course the Metroid Prime remaster!
Happy to see Ghost Trick coming on Xbox too! definitely getting it day one on Xbox! never played it on the DS so I can’t wait to play this.
BTW ToTK’s price is 70e here so the same as it was for BotW. I pre-ordered it for 62e yesterday so I am all good!
While resolution is yeesh level, the work that was done still needs appreciation.
I played the original Metroid Prime for the first time last year. It does hold up for the most part, but the platforming was a pain because you couldn’t look up and down freely. Looking forward to this remaster with the modern controls, but I will probably wait around a year to play it so that the original is less fresh in my mind. All of the screenshots that I’ve seen look great which is very promising for Prime 4. Still need to get around to Prime 2 and 3 personally…
The low resolution doesn’t bother me because I only play Switch handheld, but yeah that would be rough on a TV. The blurriness of OG Prime and Wind Waker really bothered me when I played them last year.
Nuts & Bolts was so ahead of its time.
Yeah, people were kind of mad since we never ended up getting a Banjo Threeie, but Nuts and Bolts had some great ideas.
Rare tends to be ahead of its time. Just time wasn’t on their side. Luckily, SoT time is now.
Some extra games from this. Some were already announced like Fatal Frame. Very excited for Atelier Marie myself. PARANORMASIGHT is a Square Enix game, and isn’t coming to PlayStation. Just further shows Sony only locks down their AAA games but doesn’t care about Square outside of that.
Rune Factory 3? Is this gen about going backwards?
They still need to make more games a multiplayer driven game isnt going to cut it for me. Too big of a studio to just make multiplayer games and one in like 10 years.
Nuts and bolts was good but they did nothing with it. Jsut came and went. They also didnt support it very well but i blame ms for that.
Id havee thought MS would maybe allow them to make a calibur of platform on the level of a mario galaxy or odyssey. Theyre capable. Very capable. But leadership doesnt want use talents to make these types of games.
I understand but I still stand by that they have creativity and don’t want to be another this game or that game. You know, like how you hear a Souls game up to the point it became a genre. At least with Rare, they are thinking outside of the comfort zone. Nuts and Bolts was the victim of using a well beloved name with a different direction that already established fan base didn’t ask.
SoT may not be your thing but that thing has brought in millions and millions of players, with and without game pass. I asked many people here on why it made a comeback or stabilized the fan base and they all said because of its unique nature. Of course the support helps a lot too but remember, reviews were rough.
With Everwild, I imagine to be another “don’t have this kind of gameplay before so I welcome it.” Hell, they didn’t even know what kind of game it should be before. So again, I admire them for thinking outside of the box. Better than being stuck with Kinect central.
I’m sure MS would love for them to make that kind of game, Rare just isn’t interested.
