Very interesting. I thought that since it’s at Quakecon it’s a Bethesda/Zenimax game. I didn’t realise non Zenimax related games can debut or be shown there too.

They did the Doom 64, Quake, and Quake 2 remasters that were already released. Along with a bunch of other great stuff like The Thing Remastered, Turok 1, 2, and 3. Literally one of my favorite studios in the modern gaming landscape. I buy everything they do. On one hand, because Im old and played almost all of the originals, and also because they do incredible work on all of it.

I did love Quake 3 Arena even if I sucked at online, mostly playing bots like I did with Unreal Tournament.
Would be good to see it get some loving treatment, particularly if they added some more advanced single player stuff or improved the bots…

Ill take Quake 3 for sure, but Im truly firing up my summoning circle for…Heretic/Hexen remastered.
Another possibility could be something like Return to Castle Wolfenstein or Quake 4.

Hey, a man can dream.
I have amazing memories with that wolfenstein and oddly on Xbox instead of PC. The online was among the most played online game in my history. It’s rather funny at the time that they would get rid of it and thought it was a mistake but they did pretty well transiting completely to single player.
