With Oblivion recently remastered, what games from the past would you like to see get a remaster/remake touch. Here is one from my NES day…How about Rygar done in Unreal Engine.

Something from 360 era, especially early days like Oblivion. I would also like original days though that will be a remake level depending on the gameplay.

We know Fallout 3 is getting the treatment, hopefully with vrr suppprt and better framerate/time over all. Because Oblivion Remaster is unplayable for me, because of the frame issues.
What I would chose, I don’t know, maybe Dark Souls 2? But we got SotFS on Xbox One, so it’s unlikely Bamco would go for something like that.
Morrowind? I would want it, but I do wonder how much whining there will be when mechanics are changed to be more newbie friendly.
Daggerfall? Considering the constant hate boner for procedural generation, when it comes to Bethesda, probaby best left in the past.

Some of these are long shots or impossible, but I can dream.

I’d quite like to see the Fable trilogy remastered.
I’d also want WET and Singularity. Probably some other Bethesda/ABK titles that also aren’t BC and could use some glow up.

A great way to introduce these games to a new audience and bring them to new platforms.

Singularity. It’s an overlooked gem and one of the best FPS ever made. At the very least, Xbox should make it BC on the Series consoles
Arkham Asylum with a UE5 visual overhaul (a la Oblivion/Ninja Gaiden 2 Black) and some improvements here and there (primarily bosses and some combat system tweaks) would be really nice. Game could look really nice due to the smaller scale but since we are talking about WB this is too cool of an idea for them so it sadly won’t happen.
So now what games I’d love to see getting remade/remastered? well here’s a list:
- Viewtiful Joe
- Lost Odyssey (UE5 visual upgrade would be just fine!)
- Castlevania Lords of Shadow 1/2 (both games will shine at higher resolutions/frame-rates)
- Lost Planet 2 (it was so ahead of it’s time and it deserves a second chance IMO)
- God Hand (game is stuck on the PS2…)
- Devil May Cry 1 (Full on remake a la REmake 4 would be amazing, game’s beautiful art direction would be jaw dropping powered by RE(X?) Engine)
- Also remaster some arcade racers please…Outrun, Ridge Racer, Burnout…I miss those franchises so much.
