When Paramount+ launched in the UK, Halo was the number 1 viewed show on there for weeks and weeks. It was only recently dethroned by Strange New Worlds.
Great sign for the future of the series and the global reach of the Halo brand.
Imagine if it was with a bigger network/service and a better quality show lol (I thought it was just fine)
You say that, but Halo is now the flagship series for Paramount+ and a large part of why it’s successful. That gives Halo a lot of power and basically guarantees multiple seasons for years to come, because Paramount would be crazy to cancel their most popular product. If it was on Netflix or Prime or somewhere more established, it would be far less important to the service and therefore more likely to be cancelled.
The quality of the show is neither here nor there for my argument. I liked it a lot.

Hmm yeah this could be true.

Days Gone seems utterly baffling since they’ve already canned the sequel and it seems unlikely they’ll be reviving the franchise any time soon, but you know what I’m not gonna complain if they want to make a movie with bikers and zombies. In the right hands it could probably be pretty enjoyable.
GamingFirefighter:
Hope at least some of them will be really really good. But it seems like these days there is a trend among directors not to bother with the games.

The on set photos for Fallout look really promising so far. And I’m sure Grounded will be great as well since it will be an animated series.
Hopefully Halo will turn things around in season 2 and rely more on its source material.
I hope they will show more battle scenes

I have a good feeling about Fallout. I think it and TLoU will be some of best of the upcoming game adaptations.

Hopefully not, “turn things around” SMH.
Watched the first episode of House of the Dragon. Damn It was fantastic. Excited to see how The Lord of the Rings turns out in a few days.
I want my Elder Scrolls TV series ASAP. Political and religious intrigues, big battles, thieves and spies… With similar production value.
Or animated/anime if some races like the Khajiit/Argonian or magic/undead is too difficult/costly to get right on screen. The artwork that Bethesda made for Morrowind’s 20th anniversary looked pretty great
I wonder if the Great War could work as a setting.
On the 30th of Frostfall, 4E 171, the Aldmeri Dominion sent an ambassador to the Imperial City with a gift in a covered cart and an ultimatum for the new Emperor. The long list of demands included staggering tributes, disbandment of the Blades, outlawing the worship of Talos, and ceding large sections of Hammerfell to the Dominion. Despite the warnings of his generals of the Empire’s military weakness, Emperor Titus Mede II rejected the ultimatum. The Thalmor ambassador upended the cart, spilling over a hundred heads on the floor: every blades agent in Summerset and Valenwood. And so began the Great War which would consume the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion for the next five years.
Or a political drama set during the Imperial Simulacrum.
21 years into his rule, Uriel VII was betrayed by his Imperial Battlemage, Jagar Tharn, who trapped the Emperor in Mehrunes Dagon’s Plane of Oblivion. Tharn then disguised himself as Uriel VII by using Illusion magic, and ruled the Third Empire for a decade of war and conflict during what would come to be called the Imperial Simulacrum. The provinces waged war with each other over domination. The Elder Scrolls: Arena tells the story of the Eternal Champion, who defeats Tharn and brings the Emperor back from Oblivion.
The War of the Red Diamond and the claim for the Ruby Throne would be a really great setting as well. Would be my favorite.
Kintyra II became Empress on the death of her father, Antiochus, in 3E 120. Her uncles, Cephorus King of Gilane and Magnus King of Lilmoth, attended the coronation, but her aunt, Queen Potema of Solitude, was banished after insulting Kintyra of being a bastard child in front of the Elder Council. The Wolf Queen was scheming to obtain the throne for herself and her son, Uriel. Her schemes resulted in a civil war known as the War of the Red Diamond, the name coming from the symbol of the Imperial family.
The combatants were the three surviving children of Pelagius II: Potema, Cephorus, and Magnus - and their various offspring. Potema, of course, supported her son and had the combined support of all of Skyrim and northern Morrowind. With the efforts of Cephorus and Magnus, however, the province of High Rock turned coat. The provinces of Hammerfell, Summurset Isle, Valenwood, Elsweyr, and Black Marsh were divided in their loyalty, but most kings supported Cephorus and Magnus.
In early surprise and coordinated attacks, Skyrim and High Rock were easily defeated by the force of Queen Potema. Empress Kintyra, betrayed by the Duke of Glenpoint, was captured in High Rock and later died in captivity and her fate is one shrouded in speculation.
Although the war was highly contested, it was abruptly decided by the death of Potema’s claimant, Uriel III. In 3E 127, the Emperor lost the battle of Ichidag in Hammerfell against Cephorus’ army and was captured. Meanwhile, at the same moment, the Wolf Queen defeated Magnus’ army at the battle of Falconstar in Skyrim. While enroute to his trial in the Imperial City, angry mobs attacked Uriel’s carriage and burned him alive. This vigilantes ruined Potema’s plans of negociation for an exchange. As a result, many of the allies of Potema turned against them, in favor of the new Emperor, Cephorus.
Some claim that, during the mont-long siege, in 3E 137, Potema gave Pelagius Septim a necklace that would slowly drive him to insanity. Other say the castle was infected with her evil. Potema at this point knew from the Elder Scrolls that Pelagius would become Emperor and she supposeddly instigated one final act of revenge on the Empire before going down.

The Three Banners War too to a lesser extent.
The Alliance War, also known as the Three Banners War, was a war that occurred during the Second Era, which began in 2E 580 shortly after the First Aldmeri Dominion was formed when Queen Ayrenn returned to the Summerset Isles after decades of adventuring. The three alliances involved were the First Aldmeri Dominion, the Ebonheart Pact, and the Daggerfall Covenant, all of which were fighting to rule Tamriel.

Fallout is created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who made Westworld. It has a great team behind it.
I want a Dishonored animated series by Fortiche, the studio that did Arcane, so badly.
Arcane already has huge Dishonored vibes to it lol
Which is why Fortiche would be perfect to make a Dishonored series

I’m not sure the world is ready for a properly adapted Elder Scrolls series. It world be bonkers. Glorious, but bonkers.
When you think of Halo , do you think of it as a five-season or 10-year franchise or something like that?
There are a lot of different ways you can go. It is also enormously franchisable. There are so many different games. It has got so many different directions. Yes, [we are] starting to think about that as a franchise, absolutely.
Not sure if this website is reliable but they’re saying that Season 2 filming started on August 15
The second season of ‘Halo’ officially began filming last Monday (August 15) in Budapest, Hungary, with the majority of the cast and crew. The remaining cast is set to join the production this week.
