In two separate announcements, Mouse P.I. For Hire and The Sinking City 2 have been delayed and now won’t launch on Xbox until 2026.
We’ll have to wait a little longer before we see those Mouse P.I. For Hire achievements, as the awesome-looking first-person shooter will now launch on Xbox sometime in early 2026. The same can be said for The Sinking City 2 achievements, as Frogwares has pushed the launch of its Lovecraftian adventure sequel into the first half of 2026.
Was really looking forward to Mouse. That’s quite a bit of a delay. Oh well. As long as it’s not for legal reasons. Hey! The game is releasing on Switch 1&2 but not the Xbox One or PS4? Xbox and Sony gamers should unite about being treated like generational third class citizens. There’s so many games that still could launch on last gen and so many gamers that’d benefit from it. Though I wonder if Xbox and Playstation themselves are telling devs to only do this gen to start to push upgrades.
