They can just partner with Disney. And I am not sure if parks are even a growing business these days.

I don’t see any reason for Microsoft to involve itself into estate business (theme parks involve all of that essentially). I would not be surprised if theme park business is dying (like arcades).

That sounds like a 100% guaranteed failure

Does falcom hate xbox? Ys games are on stadia but not xbox. Ys8 can be played on ps5 through BC and its getting its own standalone remaster on ps5…but no xbox. Crazy

Google paid for ports

But im sure ms attempted to get them on gamepass too.

Maybe they tried, maybe they did not. Maybe Goolge paid additional money just to prevent it from coming to Xbox. Who knows?

It’s not Falcom doing those ports. It’s NISA. Currently, Falcom develops for Playstation only and then outsources non PS platform ports to NISA and Clouded Leopard (said ports release years after the PS version). Only very recently with Kuro no Kiseki underperforming in Japan did they say they are going to start internally developing for Switch now so that the Switch versions won’t be late ports.

It’s also NISA doing the PS5 port of Ys VIII.

Basically if Xbox somehow gets NISA on board they will get Falcom games. Stadia probably overpaid NISA for those ports. If MS approached NISA for them maybe NISA’s asking price was way too high for such niche JRPGs (even though I desperately want them)

Nisa? Oh ok. Forget it. Theyre never coming to xbox then.
