I’m really surprised Microsoft Flight Simulator wasn’t one of the earlier multiplatform launches. It’s a flex of a gorgeous game, but also a niche title and fairly recent to Xbox consoles. It’s like Age of Empires, why not?
It has an enormous mtx focus, so it makes sense.
Give me PSVR2 support on Forza Horizon you cowards! 
Beta testing places is now open for application. Go to the Playstation FAQ on the MS Flight Simulator website and scroll to the bottom to apply.

Okay sold. Guess I will buy this on PS5 once VR support comes.
Would guess this will be something else in VR . Do not have VR myself, no dount dad with get it for his Playstaion 5VR so can’t wait to play it up dad’s house over chistmas
The PSVR update is coming later in 2026. Honestly it could get canceled if the game sells poorly, so don’t by it on release, wait.

There will be no crossplay between PS5 and PC/Xbox, because there will not be any Xbox authentication on Playstation. this also means that any add-ons purchased on PC or Xbox platforms won’t be available on the PS5.

The only third party controller available at launch will be the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4.

Only first party add-ons will be available in the Marketplace at launch, but Microsoft plans to bring trusted third party add-ons in spring 2026.
