LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO @ at that Colin tweet. Almost as pathetic as the one asking for the Government to step in.

I know the mods want us to be “better” than the obvious fanboys, but sometimes you just have to have a good laugh and point out fools like Colin.

I agree. We need to be better, but Moriarty always deserves to be clowned, so meh.

The entertainment value of Xbox acquisitions is unrivaled. :phil_lmao:

I need Phil to get a Japanese company for maximum fuckery.

A Japanese company would cause literal meltdowns in the JRPG community lol.

So COD games will become exclusive to Xbox and PC… No need to develope the game for 3 PlayStation SKUs

This will definitely save resources and make yearly COD viable with less technical and development issues

Yearly COD is going no where… But devs will have less to work on

I dont really understand all the gamepass on playstation/nintendo talk, MS is targeting billions, not millions, for anyone without an xbox they have a phone/tablet/television, billions of potential customers

Targeting the competition and sacrificing a large cut of your subscription to them when there are much bigger fish to target out there seems misguided

Didn’t Phil say he wants gamepass everywhere?

But lemme guess, when Sony went after Bethesda games behind MS back it was fine? When they decided for SE it was time to make FF a PS only IP again it was fine?

Sony fans are nuts and to be honest “gaming” is a secondary hobby to alot of them. Some of them bind their self identity to Sony and anything that even remotely threatens Sony’s dominance freaks them out. They care more about forum wars and trotting around forums trolling others to make themselves feel better. Actual gaming has little to do with how obsessed they are with Sony.

So you got to understand these people are Sony fans and trolls and that is their hobby, gaming is just some secondary activity that they may or may not even participate in.

To some of them the idea of even having an Xbox in their house is some type of foreign concept they cannot even imagine. Like owning an Xbox might burn down their house and kill their dog.

Imagine paying this guy to hypocritically whine about Xbox when you could use that money to subscribe to Game Pass instead.

I think it’s a good time to say multiple rumors on PS side that is nothing but fans pleasure in order to make it so redeemable, starting with Silent Hill.

Well it’s interesting from a perspective of “How will Sony keep up”. As the other big tech firms (Apple, Amazon, Meta, etc) will start buying game studios and publishers soon as well. Sony might be over it’s head and needs to do something quick, lest they fall very far behind.

This is a grown adult, right? If not I’m sorry for making fun of a child. This is the problem with society right now. If something happened in the world that I don’t exactly want it has to be evil. What is wrong with people?

Oye, Colly. Who took the jam outa your donut?

They’ll make targeted investments in studios that make sense for them in order to secure content they need and fill some gaps. See buying Insomniac and that dedicated porting studio.

They don’t have the same purchasing power so they’ll have to be smarter. But if every big publisher, premiere studio becomes a bidding war between MS/Amazon/Google/Facebook then Sony won’t be competitive in most of those battles and will have to aim for smaller targets with a disproportionate benefit to their business.
