Interesting premise, of trying to get some larger movement on a decisions in the EU to put pressure on CMA and the FTC too.
Similar to what I wrote earlier, but of course more legally sound.
Unsure if posted
Wonder what the CMA would considerable acceptable concessions. Their phase 1 arguments were similar to Sony’s arguments, but their issues they are focusing on are much more similar to Europe’s. If Europe’s satisfied with those issues, could rhe CMA be as well. Are there some additional things theyd want to see?
As Idas mentioned EU approval will put a pressure on CMA so I guess it will be the same the same at best
damn. the no concessions gang lost.
If Microsoft decided to offer that just to fast track the deal, then I did not lose anything.
FTC stance is absurd - in a normal world - this deal would have passed without any concessions. But if Microsoft’s logic is about avoiding litigation then the offer for 10 year COD (that changes nothing for Microsoft) is a sacrifice they are willing to make as they were not planning to remove COD anyway.
You may have lost the fight but we might win the war
You lost your market power on this board.
I am with the “plz wrap this up quickly” gang
My market power is in stocks
He is gotta a sick Series S mod.
Seeing all the attention about CoD, I am again reminded about the discussion on the podcast how Microsoft wants you distracted by CoD, so you do not see the other things like King behind them lol.
I don’t think MS is steering the public discourse on this.
It’s all Sony lol.
MS literally came out and said the deal is about King and not COD, lol.
I think isnt that bad, I mean as long as they let them make another franchises exclusive, also not every cod player is going to move to xbox if the franchise became exclusive, but hopefully phil will make the same things as sony by making some content exclusive, aswell getting the marketing rights
