Microsoft had the chance to restructure during our initial investigation but instead continued to insist on a package of measures that we told them simply wouldn’t work. Dragging out proceedings in this way only wastes time and money.

Oh man I missed that one. FTC absolutely in shambles right now (and yes I know they’re probably throwing shade more at the EU CC with that quote, but at least the EU did something and was constructive about it). The FTC accomplished literally NOTHING.

Now this is a nonsense statement from the CMA. The only competition agency to make competition worse more like….I guess maybe they do actually want a medal for that.
