I mean that’s not true.
In the initial Phase 1 decision the CMA identified 2 TOH’s 1 - console gaming and subscriptions, 2 - Cloud gaming
They split the first into two analyses - each 14/15 pages long covering console and subscription separately. Cloud gaming also received a 14/15 page analysis with conclusion.
That’s ignoring that it was headlined and foregrounded in the summary to an equal extent with the other TOH’s as leading to an SLC.
It was no foot note or minor thing.

It’s not their job to come up with the exact remedy they will accept. They should have given feedback to Microsoft sooner about the Cloud SLC so there was time for them to explore and propose something that works.

CMA could either release the Final Report today after US market close (which is ~2 hours from now) or tomorrow pre-market, if Tom is correct, that is. Announcing the decision AND Microsoft closing immediately tomorrow seems like a lot happening very quickly, so I’m guessing they release the Final Report today after close maybe.
