As you say, the FTC cannot prevent or unwind a merger, only the federal courts can and a federal judge has already ruled on the matter. So unless the market conditions change drastically, or congress passes new legislation, the FTC is a side show.
Even new legislation couldnt be uaed because they cant retroactively apply newly created laws.

Trying to associate a $0.20 movement when the entirety of the stock marketing has more volatility to mean āuncertaintyā is absurd. 
Doubly so when the terms with Ubi was done so nothing for EC changes.

Seems that way. Destin didnāt post the entire pic so the context isnāt clear. If they are asking the court of appeal for a TRO then thatās going to get denied once again just like the emergency injunction they asked for.
Even if they took the āitās a new deal because of the cloud divestitureā angle, they still have nothing. The complaints were console and cloud. Console was thrown out by every single regulator as a non-issue and the only company with an issue signed a 10-year deal. The issue with cloud no longer exists because they do not have the rights.
Their case was weak before, itās even weaker now.

Itās not clear the context of that image but I doubt anything is happening. The FTC has been a laughingstock so far. If anything it might just pushed MS to close the moment the CMA approves

CMA has to give the āofficialā approval in the next two weeks, lets hope they do it sooner than that.
They have till 18th October to do that. Canāt be till after 6th October as consolation period runs till then.

So, the EU COULD STILL LOOK INTO THE DEAL, again. despite early reports that they wouldnāt. I thought that it went to smoothly with that. I did say that was the thing to watch now.
