Starfield could be really big for this cloud streaming providers. Many that want to play at 60fps might get the chance through 4090âs in the cloud.
This is one of those situations where everyones thirst for every detail is a negative. Just tweet when there is something of value. At this point unless it is âThe CMA is allowing it and the deal is closingâ it doesnât seem particularly valuable.
Well it seems anticlimatic ever since the CMC where it was said that MS/ABK is closing, its just a matter of when.

I donât know why people are so optimistic with the cma. They have repeatedly proven that they have an agenda and not taking decisions using facts but stupid ideology.

Hopefully because they were told by the tribunal to pack it in and not waste anyoneâs time. So fingers crossed.

I donât trust CMA but i think the CMA who did to block on April is not same what the regulator is now, they was expecting EC block, FTC wins the case but it didnât happened, now they are practically alone with NZ Aproving, Australia ignoring the merger (they will not aprove but they will not block too), and Canada didnât have time to block.

They practically begged not to go to appeals. Imagine bungling the case on its merits and being overturned on appeal. An embarressment of a regulator.
They went from being the absolute final âNo, neverâ to promising a judge âWe will get this done within a monthâ
Microsoft wants to do this properly and make a long term solution to the CMAs objections. Why? So they canât say anything in the future for the next acquisition.

They were given pretty strict instructions by the CAT. Also given the extension that MS and ABK agreed to theyâd be able to get around another block by the CMA anyway, wouldnât they? I would think at this point the CMAâs best course of action is to try and squeeze whatever concessions they can out of this but approve.

The CAT judge literally said the deal will close and that it was just a case of working out the details. If the CMA tries any crap the CAT judge is just going to rule over them.

For those not paying attention, it was said publically during the middle July Monday CMC meeting with CAT and CMA that the MS/ABK deal will close, its just a matter of when.

This could be the modified transaction. My guest is that if they are still planning on finishing by the 29 they will launch multiple comment periods not only for the last MS submission but for input on the modified translation with both preliminaries views on it.

CMA & FTC still coordinating confirmed. Operation stall until they fall is a go.
Stop with the bullshit fearmongering. The CMA cannot go against the CAT judge in bad faith and this isnât anything we didnât know was already happening (albiet the term âphase 3â instead of new phase 1). The FTC is simply throwing a hail mary with options they have available to them (even though theyre damaging their reputation even further and wasting more taxpayer dollars for nothing).

This acquisition is not going to fail, it is a matter of when, not if. Even if the CMA suddenly decides to go crazy again, Ms is gonna close over them.
