Microsoft-Activision-Blizzard Discussion Thread |OT3| - Sony bends the knee!

All it does is make them look pathetic, talking crap after they just let the time run out, no backbone at all

If Canada actually had concerns then they could have included them in their letter with specifics. They dont, they are clearly attempting to influence a judge as a foreign agent.

Too bad it’s too late for them to stop in Canada.

Like he said, it might be them trying to influence the Judge, the timing to bring up that they are concerned was interesting.

It’s funny how there are over a dozen Bethesda titles in Playstation Plus at the moment, yet Sony and the FTC kept talking about how MS couldn’t be trusted and would definitely make everything exclusive and foreclose on Sony. There are probably more Xbox 1st party titles in Playstation Plus than there are Sony 1st party titles.

Maybe but they didn’t do anything when they had a chance so :man_shrugging:t5:. Feels kinda meaningless.

Doesn’t matter if Canada had concerns. The time has passed and they did jack.

I do think COD will have a more balanced release cadence and Phil isn’t going to force all the studios to continue to support only one game. He’ll keep to that given how much of a difference it will be compared to Bethesda and how they run their IP with Howard at the head of it. Something that I think COD needs going forward.

Colin is a well known sony shill.

It’s about time Microsoft started making their games exclusives. So glad Bethesda games are going that route. Time for Xbox to start making the brand un-missable.

I think people are starting to take notice, 2 people at my work last week just realized they won’t be able to play Starfield on their PS5 and are mad at Microsoft now for buying Bethesda lol

Moriarty is such a turn off seeing him here. Let’s promote folk with some journalistic integrity would be my plea, sorry if I’m backseat modding.

For me, every single thing in my bones points me towards it being a closed deal but it’s not a fair fight. If it fails we all gotta move on instantly.

So if the judge rules in Microsofts favor isn’t the soonest they can close the deal is 5 days later because they have to wait that amount of time for an appeals hearing by the ftc?

Technically 5 “business” days after the ruling so it most likely will be the week after

I wonder Reuters will get an early indicator like with EU.

I hope your coworkers aren’t petty enough to outright skip Starfield just because it’s Xbox exclusive.

Bad faith arguments is all he knows.

Suspect the stock price might be a giveaway shortly before the decision is public. Can’t see anything else leaking it.

That would be condemnable.

At the same time, they cheers at Sony to get FFXVI exclusive.
