Whilst Sony and Nintendo were releasing critically acclaimed first-party titles, Microsoft has released games like Ryse: Son of Rome and Forza 5 — games that created the template for the landscape of the current AAA industry by helping normalize microtransactions in premium games near enough their infancy.
Sony doesn’t even pay these guys to spread FUD and lie on their behalf. This deal is making some people lose their damn minds, lmao.

Didn’t the original TLOU released in June 2013 have micro-transactions for the multi-player? If so, that would be before Ryse and Forza Motorsport 5. Not to mention the fact that micro-transactions existed during the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 generation. SMH.
