Mass Effect |OT| ME Next Engine news

Some food for thought

Also

  • Tired of reading complaints about Ryder not being a badass like Shep as if that wasnt the point.

  • Lazy comparisons between Keth-Reapers and Jardaan-Protheans when they arent identical in the slighest.

  • OT nostalgia goggles for everything is a real thing. As good as ME trilogy is (GOAT) its not without faults.

Unrelated but Mass Effect used some amazing songs for some of their trailers:

(Used in ME2 Trailer)

(Used in an Andromeda trailer)

Grubb put up an article on the UE5 situation.

Says that at a minimum they will investigate with it even if they end up using Frostbite.

Look as long as we keep the Andromeda movement and combat I dont care what Engine they use. I dont wanna go back to the endless setups for shooting the OT had. Especially ME2 which was the worst offender of this.

At least BioWare can keep their options open & go with whatever engine works best for them. That’s a positive development.

As long as they dont take away the freedom of movement from MEA and the combat fluidity, they could use an 8 bit engine for all I care.

I think ME has evolved past the need of just being a cover shooter and the ability to mix and mash powers in Andromeda should BE ideal.

Yea I might try it again if it gets boosted I already beat the game back on the base Xbox one in like 2018 I think

Really irritated that the achievement for completing the majority of mass effect one is glitched.

Got every other achievement in the game and was going for all achievements.

I did everything. Every side quest. Got all the metals and minerals with the mako. I’ve beaten the game 5 times now, and got the majority of the game with each character in the OG release.not too happy.

@Mostlyharmless I missed out on the paramour 3 achievement cause I remained a faithful man to Liara in 2 :joy:

Just did the ME2 intro. Fuck it’s still amazing.

Apologies if it’s been discussed previously in the thread, but does anyone else have issues with menu inputs registering as double presses? For example, when assigning skill points, I’ll press up twice on the d-pad, but the cursor will move up three times instead of two, skipping the selection I expected it to land on. A nitpick, but rather annoying. I started the game yesterday and was surprised something like this hadn’t been patched by now.

That intro the 1st time really was crazy to see. I was at awwww lol

Happy N7 Day everyone

Lol of course Mr calibration is most used

One of my least used characters in the whole series :skull:

And here we are, one more N7 day and Jaycane is still waiting for his Andromeda fps boost.

In his defense, after replaying the trilogy i have to say that Andromeda is the best Mass Effect gameplay wise!

Im out here!

They made it faster in ME2 Legendary Edition also, it was slower :skull:

If the image implies what I think it is they went with the correct ending choice. I still want to see how they connect this to Andromeda somehow and eventually give that a proper shot with proper dev time.

Here’s hoping

I’m in agreement with 53% of mass effect players. The rest are lackeys of Saren or the Illusive Man.
