Been working my way through 2 here and there. Got all of the squad except Legion so just loyalty missions and shadow broker dlc left.
I believe I saw Arrival has no achievement? Ill probably skip it if true.

Just got chills about to take the fight to the reapers end this once and for all
Hot take from ME1, but there’s nothing wrong with the Mako, but there is everything wrong with the terrain of the planets. Endless mountains and jagged terrain the poor Mako can’t handle.
Having to go back to the ship, just to load back into a planet because I’m stuck in an impossible to get out of valley is not OK.
Yeah had that same experience.
I would legit try it out if they were to give it a fps boost. I did remember playing some of it and it wasn’t that bad and I thought from the little I played of it was more enjoyable than Dragon Age Inquisition for me. I still feel a bit sad that bioware didn’t deliver for me last gen because they were one of my favourite devs in the 360 gen
Idk if maybe Im older or its just that Ima kinda seeing some age on my 4th-5th playthrough of Mass Effect 2 but my goodness the variety in this game is not good. Everything ends up shooting.
Just started 2 after finishing 1, the removal of the inventory and the levelling system is jarring
I love it, so much simpler.
Just did Project Overlord and woke Grunt up before calling it a night. ME2 is just so good.
Currently blazing my way through ME3. Had meant to break the trilogy up with other games but nothing stops this train.
Omega re-taken. Leviathan’s secrets uncovered. Genophage cured. Clone Shepard dealt with. Every sidequest overheard in the process done. Galactic readiness meter damn near full already.
Next up, it’s time to bring peace between the Geth & Quarians. Then everyone will have a big party at Anderson’s apartment before we start on the final push to the end.
What a ride it’s been. Overall, the entire trilogy is still as special on the umpteenth playthrough as it was on the very first. What an achievement Mass Effect was. They don’t make 'em like this anymore.
Just finished ME2. As much as I love the franchise and this game Ive had enough of this one to last me a good decade for now lol.
Still fun but I think this is the playthrough I enjoyed the least.
Should be just in time for when the Legendary Edition gets it’s PS6 and Series Z enhanced patch
So this is my first play through of the series and I just completed ME2 and…
I FUCKING LOST GARRUS IN THE FINAL MISSION NOOOOOOOO
It is your duty to restart the mission.
I really can’t be bothered though
I got Mordin and Thane out though, so that’s baller. I just wish I could have my boy Wrex back.
@anon15396042 what would you give your Latest ME2 playthrough? Think this was the playthrough I enjoyed the least and I kinda saw more flaws than in my previous ones.
Yeah I would agree with you, pretty much. Definitely enjoyed 2 the least.
It’s like I said before, the balance between exploration, dialogue & combat is way off in 2. It’s really all combat, all the time & unfortunately the combat just doesn’t feel great these days. I don’t even know what tweaks they made between 2 & 3 but I can feel the difference clearly. Shooting & using powers in 3 is so much more fun, it’s actually glaring. Add to that the improvements made to 1 in this remaster & 2 definitely ends up in last place when it comes to my personal ranking.
As I said as well, I didn’t see this coming at all. In my mind before playing this remastered collection, 2 was maybe the best game of the trilogy.
@anon15396042 Some of the best missions in ME2 to me where stuff like Samara, Thane and Kasumi (first half) loyalty missions that didn’t revolve around shooting for most of them. Everything else is just a warzone and for the first time in like 5 runs I was absolutely rushing just to get rid of the game lol.
With the changes made to ME1 I think Ima go and say the game is vastly superior to ME2.
I’ve always maintained that ME1 was the best in the series, but could see why people felt ME2 was best. The technical improvements and missions like Reaper IFF/Suicide run were obviously the big ones, but now that the LE has kinda levelled the playing field, the only aspects I feel ME2 really improved, were the character interactions, fleshing out the team members stories, and better inventory management.
Playing through the LE just really brought to fore what I disliked about ME2, such as working for Cerberus, The Collectors, the Human Reaper, a story that ultimately didn’t go anywhere, and fucking ammo clips. Plus, I much preferred ME1’s unexplored planets, even if the bases on them had repetitive designs. Some of the skyboxes were stunning and made for much better photos than the ones the sequels had.
