hee heee hee heeeee, I am a child, I know. I was just funning since that line was the first my eye saw

Truthfully, though I loathe the game compared to 1-3 but I try to keep my fevered rantings to a minimum since people do enjoy it, like people enjoyed Anthem (or any other “failed” game).

Mass Effect is important to me, for personal non fangirlish reasons and I don’t know if I would be here had it not helped me in the way it did. So I can appreciate, at least how Andromeda could make people feel, I know Hainley on the first planet made me angry, and was indicative of other poor decisions made.

So a part of me would kinda like to say similar, but it doesn’t help me or others. It functioned, and in places very well I do on the whole like the gameplay, the combos are satisfying and the increased movement is good, especially as it leads to more “exciting” battles than just hiding behind well placed walls.

But I do understand, Its not so much how awful it is, but probably just how good 1-3 were.

Bits of Andromeda looked gorgeous though.

[edit] Anyway sorry, dont mean to keep ranting, was just trying to say I at least understand.

In terms of excitement though this morning my desktop rotated to one of my all time favorite backgrounds coincidently.

I liked soldier as I used the teammates for their “powers” and just “windmilled” my way into fight with whatever fancy gun I had just gotten

This time I thought Vanguard, but now I am thinking Sentinal instead since their shields are quite tanky. Or I think they are.

It’s funny, I’m looking at the exact opposite stituation. In all my playthroughs, I think I played Adept a couple times and every other one was Vanguard. I just loved charging at enemies with Shep. And when the ground pound move got introduced in 3, I was in bad-ass, take the fight to the enemy, heaven

This time around, I plan on going Soldier and finally getting the most out of my weapons. I’ll just be sure to always have teammates with Biotics and Tech abilities to compliment me. A tank will be helpful too

Sentinel is definitely my favourite class. Especially in ME2. The power armour shield thing feels awesome in 2, it detonates after taking enough damage & knocks back everything around you. It’s great & it never gets old.

You have sold me, Sentinel it is!

Cool :grin::+1:

I also think Sentinel is the best balanced all round class for harder difficulty levels. In my experience anyway.

Mass Effect is one of only a couple of franchises (along with Halo) where I actually enjoyed turning up the difficulty for a subsequent playthrough & for me, Sentinel was just the go-to class. I can’t imagine trying to get through the derelict Reaper in ME2, even just on Veteran difficulty, with any other class.

Interesting. I’ve beaten ME2 Insanity as Engineer and Soldier; of those two Soldier was a bit easier. Sentinel is probably the class I’ve played the least across the three games. Maybe I’ll put it on my list for the LE!

So that’s why I only managed to download 20Gb… I was searching how to trigger that 88Gb download, scratching my head as to why it didn’t ! :man_facepalming:

If I can play Mass Effect 1 while downloading the rest of the games, that would be perfect !

does that mean I can download ME2 and ME3 at a later time? If so that would be great because I am barely have any room in my internal SSD

I just rewatched the Final trailers for OF Trilogy

Ge getting goosebumps. Cannot wait to play these phenomenal games again.

Good thing is I got physical preordered…bad thing its from Gamestop. I’ve had bad experience with these morons before (like allocating a PS4 version of Yakuza instead of Xbox at launch for me even though i clearly had xbox version on my receipt)

The irony is Andromeda was unplayable at launch. So many stupid bugs and gltiches ruined the immersion and experience. Whats worse than a game breaking bug is constant baffling character animations toppled with random glitches that stop sidequests from being completed to main story quests being frozen. I had so many issues at launch. So yeah absolutely unplayable in my opinion.

The game might be ok now. I couldn’t give two shits. Even without the bugs and glitches. Its not worth the time.

Trying to figure out what class to be. Last time I was boring and just went with Soldier. I like being able to use any gun I want.

I was going to wait before picking this up, but that MS Rewards card for 6000 points, pushed me to buy it! Will move to NZ to play it at 2pm :joy:
