The picture(on the top of the article) looks better than what I saw during the livestream, if they can get the game to look more like those stills it should go a long way to helping it’s perception.

What’s weird with this gameplay reveal/dev direct is that I thought it was supposed to take place on a planet-size derelict ship. Now it’s on a planet ? What’s the story pitch of this thing ? Why are we fighting and looting for ? It doesn’t make sense.

Is there a ranking system or some kind of social aspect to it ? It’s just basic stuff that should have been teased by a trailer or some dev talking.

I guess we will learn more as time goes on, but it seems there’s just nothing exciting except the design.

On the official Australian Xbox Facebook group page.

I wish Bungie still released games every 2 or 3 years. It would make it easier to just say, Oh well, I’m not interested in an extraction shooter, but maybe I’ll click with their next project!

Instead this is the only new game they’ve released in 8 years and it could well be another 8 years before the next new project after this one. It just makes it feel so high stakes.

Not a Bungie specific problem obviously. It’s pretty much all developers except for like, Ubisoft and Obsidian. And Insomniac!
