Ofcourse it is, I bought the trilogy 2 days ago.
It’s pretty great so far, gameplay is dated but I love a mob story.

Probably me being overly negative but can get this game absolutely dirt cheap. Not really an exciting or inspiring Gamepass drop IMO
Even if you can get some of these games without spending a lot, for me as someone that is busy with work and other things I really love Xbox Game Pass helping to “curate” titles such as this that I likely would have never remembered or chased down to buy even cheap. I am excited to check this one out for sure.
This was my last last generation game I played before moving on to the current generation consoles and it’s a great 8.0/10 game. Really enjoyed it and recommend it.
I bought this day one, as I never completed the original release on PC back in the day because I couldn’t pass the car race! It’s much easier in this version and it’s a decent remake overall.
It looks great and plays ok, but you have to keep in mind that it’s still at its core, a 22 year-old game and that’s pretty apparent at times.
Was one of my 3 favourite non-sport games as a teenager (MGS, GTA3 and this - Mass Effect 2 has since beaten all of them) and I found the storytelling even better than MGS.
I can still remember the ending, and it got me into all the books and films about the Mafia from Mario Puzo, Scorsese and Coppolla - the Godfather is still one of my favourite films.
Own the DE on PC but haven’t ever got round to replaying it (fearful of a Goldeneye situation where it ruins my memories!) and have often thought about pulling the trigger when it’s cheap on Xbox - now I guess I’ll give it another try particularly if as @Ironfistchinmi says the car race is easier, as older me would struggle with so much of the game that teenage me had the time and energy to get past!
