Will be watching later, as I’m currently playing the game.
Edit: Made it to chapter 3, game looks gorgeous so far and the use of light and darkness really stand out for me. It’s not Hellblade 2 stuck in a dark hell dark, but it’s damn good.
I do have just one complaint that I feel would have worked better for Keeper gameplay wise, but I guess this game is more about the story.

It’s funny that this game supposedly has no VO, yet it conveyed a joy wondrous story. At the same time where Pokemon recent title is getting ridiculed by many for not having because of how they invested too much on cutscenes without “hiding” the flaws like old Zelda titles.

I expected it to be bad because of the game’s concept and mechanics ( playing as lighthouse lol ) and also since it didn’t get much attention or even simple marketing from Microsoft. But after trying it, I ended up finishing it in one session. 8/10 recommended

The price probably also has something to do with it. Keeper is $30 and never once tried to position itself as anything but a short and sweet creative unique experience. Pokémon is charging $60 ($70 for people that paid $450 for the switch 2 (oh my god, I just realized that Sony and Nintendo are making/made the people that spent at least $100 more for the new console also spend $10 more for the privelege of playing games on said new console) and especially with the legends series really trying to pretend they’ve evolved with the industry when in reality they’re like 15 years behind everyone.

Great review! I’m glad I waited until after I finished the game because Twig’s and Lit’s Journey was something I needed to go in with little to no info.

Double Fine have an established pedigree at this point. I don’t think they’ve ever made a bad game.

Great game, that kept me hooked for the 5 1/2 hours it took for me to complete it. I’ll replay it at some point, as I played it through my soundbar, so want to experience the audio through my headphones with the Dolby app.
Only had one minor quibble, and that was the lack of a flying segment after taking on the bird form. I was getting serious Panzer Dragoon Zwei vibes from it and was fully expecting the game to let us take full flight.

Just finished it. One of Double Fine best games. Really well made, not too short, not too long, good variety in environments and gameplay. I like how the achievement descriptions tell the story.
I did not expect to roll around at the end like Tony Hawk 
The ending cutscene went to black for 10 seconds. Looked weird. Is this normal?
same. i would have liked one or two levels as a fire breathing dragon.
