Hahaha.

Complete agree. You just hit on one aspect I didnā€™t like either.

Trying to retrace my steps in some of those areas was a hassle too. Particularly, the few relics in the underground cavern, before you fight in the dark (I think). The area doesnā€™t have an exit as itā€™s tied into the story cinematics. I tried revisiting a different section then revisiting that area again, but it kept loading back at the same exact spot in the cavern. I had to figure out the reverse path out of that cavern to get back to the entrance.

It would be nice if during revisiting an area it let you warp back to your main base if you wanted to.

Absolutely, I found this infuriating at times. Going back to get a random photo/relic/note then having to walk back for 10 minutes was quite annoying!

Talking about fast travel, I feel they could have also added more fast travel boards. The mining area in the south of the Gizeh map was particularly annoying as there were no boards nearby and no way to fast travel to it.

I think we need an XboxEra review when itā€™s out

Itā€™s fine! The outrage back then was wild, but itā€™s nice to lighten things up now.

I started playing it on Xcloud from the weekend. Some glitchiness at the start of each session, and some strobing, but after I got into the action, it didnā€™t worry me. The game performed quite well.

I wanted to see if I could do a no-kill run, so started on the Castel Santā€™angelo level. Itā€™s hard. For example, in the first scene, just outside the castle, you cannot stealth past the lone Fascist. Heā€™ll see you and rush you. If you jump onto the roof and toss your whip to climb up the side of the wall, the Fascist will follow you and if he hits you, you fall back on the roof. As heā€™s not as fast as you I have to drop off the roof, run to the far end of the compound, and when he almost gets to you, run past him, leap the roof and try throwing the whip and climbing again. In the rooms before the boss you cannot stealth, so I end up running hell for leather past the guards.

In most cases though, you can stealth your way, but when you are discovered, if you plan your path of escape, you can run away from the guards and eventually theyā€™ll lose interest. You can collect all the keys bar one and the adventure books by stealth.

However you canā€™t avoid the boss for that level, so in the end, a no-kill run isnā€™t possible (unless you broaden your prerequisites, and accept that knocking someone out cold counts.)
