+65 hours in and I still have lots of stuff to do. This game is not lacking in content at all.
There’s a lot of stuff. And im enjoying all of it. Not a single activity or optional side content has turned me off or bored me.
Since you beat the game, I have a few questions for you -
In the second region (Aphrodite), I have noticed that some of the water streams are now red and it looks like it was hit by an earthquake with fire/lava/whatever and I did some activities there and collected some resources. My questions are - does this happen throughout the world because I don’t remember this until recently? I know that this area is corrupted but how do I solve that? Or is it part of the main story? Thanks.
TBH, I don’t remember. I’ve been tag teaming the game with me eldest son (10 years), with him driving the majority of the way. I’ve been doing clean up duty (chests, side quests, challenges) to make sure he wasn’t underpowered for the final section/boss. Sorry, bro.
Okay, no problem. It’s all good.
The corrupt save game bug is still not fixed. Ran into it again tonight after a long session assuming the issue was resolved. I will continue to save frequently, and to manually quit the game after every session.
Also, this might come in handy for some.
DLC trophies are live. It should be released soon.
A New God seems to be releasing later this month. I’m more excited for Myths of the Eastern Realm and The Lost Gods but will still gladly play through A New God.
I’m only 2 regions through the base game in around 30 hours. I’m fucking loving this game!!!
Wow, that was fast. I was hoping to be able to finish the 1000 before DLC appeared but hmm. Hopefully the season pass goes on sale before too long.
+70 hours now for me… The game is just damn fun, no other way to put it. The puzzles/challenges/vaults are varied enough to stay interesting even after this many hours for me.
Yeah, same feelings here!
My plan was to get the 1000g in January, but to be honest I felt a bit burnt out with the game after around 20 hours. I love the exploration, but it still is an Ubisoft game. Too much to do, and whenever a entered a new big puzzle chamber I sighed, so I decided to take a short break.
The game is still in my Top 10 for 2020, though.
I’m loving the vaults. Thinking about this, I wish their was a “completion percentage checklist” in the game as I like knowing how many there are and how many I completed. Anyway, out of the vaults I have done thus far, I think im like 8 out of 10 in regards to completing them 100% on the first attempt. Only 2 vaults I needed a second attempt to get the treasure chest.
That was all on easy/medium. Played the first hard vault yesterday and holy shit, I quit right out of it. Definitely need to upgrade some stuff before going back. lmao.
I did this massive puzzle in Aphrodite’s palace and wow, what a puzzle. I thought it was going to keep going. And I didn’t even get to that “roll the pearl” quest/area yet. lol.
I wish the same in regards to the completion list, there is sooooo much to do in this game (blows my mind how many new items I will find using “Far Sight”) it would be nice to be able to track what is and what is not done.
But yeah, some of the hard ones get mighty frustrating, especially the ones that involve flying (I’m pure horse shit at flying)… And yes, upgrading abilities is a must for some, otherwise you are just wasting your time.emphasized text
I will find locations/items with far sight in other regions that I haven’t even gotten too. I’m solid at flying especially after the patch that allowed me to change the sprint/boost while flying/swimming button. I think it’s called Ares arrows…but I use these to “scout” the area/vaults since you can guide the arrow. Allows me to see what’s ahead and plan it out.
The update introduced an annoying bug where you can’t disable photo icons on the map. I had them turned off so my map gets nice and cleared. Hope they fix it.
Yeah, it’s mighty annoying. But I cannot believe they managed to not flag the “corrupt save files” as a priority, the bug is NOT fixed.
I’m currently on 76 out of 80 for the Myth Challenges, the grind continues…
40hours circa here. Well the game is pretty fun, a good surprise. I’m playing it with my daughters and they’re having fun that is the most important thing. Playing it on Series X in performance mode and there is a massive tearing (especially when I move the camera in vertical axis). Strange.
I’m +75 hours in and I’ve never noticed screen tearing, I’m usually super sensitive to that sorta stuff too.
Yeah I know that is pretty strange, I posted the same problem on another forum and only a couple of people have the same issue. Performance mode, installed into internal ssd, only Fenix got this problem, other games runs flawlessy.
