Has anyone tried any of the demos yet?

Not yet - any particular ones that are a highlight?

I checked the demos section yesterday and only a few were there. Hopefully they’ve added all of them now. Or better yet, a dedicated section. Do they now?

What’s the bet Captain Bones comes out before Skull and Bones?

The latter actually has a release date now.

That is if Ubi doesn’t delay it again. :skull:

5 minutes of New Star GP and Parcel Corp and I’m definitely going to play a lot more of both.

New Star GP is a Virtua Racing look-alike with a ton more depth. All the features expected of a full priced console game but with a retro presentation.

Parcel Corps will immediately remind you of Jet Set Radio from a presentation standpoint. Actually it looks a lot like the leaked JSR footage as it is a modern-day version of it. You’re on a bike delivering parcels.

SquadBlast is not available via the link and can’t find it in the Xbox store on console. Same for Go Mecha Ball.

I played more New Star GP and I’m loving it. A definite buy for me. It’s a great Virtua Racing clone as in it is a great open wheel arcade racing game with the same visual aesthetics. But it goes beyond that with the depth that you would expect from a console game and a compelling singleplayer mode. From car upgrades to team management, it arcadifies elements that you see in the F1 games. The track designs are great as well.

I’m here downloading Tekken 8 and I thought I would try more of this and when the download finished I just couldn’t stop playing this.

I also downloaded Donut Dodo and I found it really hard but it was super addictive and I just didn’t want to give up. I really like the CRT filters in this game and I wish most retro style games had filters this good. It’s a gorgeous game.

I grabbed Pinball FX as well and it looks glorious and 4K something we’ve never seen on consoles in the past. I really like the selection of tables that are promised, and it seems like a great playing title just like all of the previous ones. I just wish they were a bit more diversity in the themes. Like I’ve never noticed a racing inspired pinball table. Or a fighting game one. They take a lot of great movie IPs and make them into tables but I would love to see a Street Fighter or Afterburner table. I like Star Wars and there are more than plenty of SW tables but video game IPs would be more my jam. Like a Halo table.

Beyond that, while I love the challenge of pinball and the leaderboard gameplay, playing this made me wish there was a split screen two-player pinball game that was like a fighting game. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I was so in love with New Star GP that I made a video on it, thinking that there may not be many out there as it’s a small indie title. I just checked and there are tons lol

But here it is anyways.
