I am enjoying it, but the game’s surprisingly ugly, the UI is surprisingly clunky, and the humour is already absolutely one-note, although it works well when everything’s exploding.
A lot of fun to play though, so up for more.

Yeah, the city biome looks awful. The game is fun though, even if a bit grindy/repetitive.

Helldivers II is using a version of Autodesk Stingray for an engine. It’s defunct, no longer supported, and only this game and WH40K Darktide are using some form of it. It’s not pretty, not performant, and really weird that it’s still in use.
