I’d like to reiterate, it’s 16 reviews of 2 episodes. Seems a bit premature to say “looks like the Halo show sucks” based on such a tiny sample size of a 5th of the season.

Reviewers are very fickle with TV shows for some reason, if it’s not that popular or from a prestigious network, it’ll tend to get a very low amount of reviews.
Saw a review from a TV show/movie reviewer and not someone very familiar with the series (though they know the basics of the lore and they find it interesting) and they had a lot of legitimate issues with it (poor vfx, uninteresting plot). But they also stated that this opinion was only based on two episodes.
One good point that they had is that maybe Paramount should debut with 3 episodes in the first week and then go weekly. That way it gets people hooked. They fear the first episode won’t be enough for non-Halo fans.

Fantastic. Now if the BR mode and the new campaign don’t make it until the end of this year then peeps would pitchfork 343 even if they don’t promise anything because an employee’s resume on the internet said this and that.

A one year cycle for new campaigns would be incredible, imagine the yearly E3 Halo campaign announcement It’s certainly not outside the realm of possibility if it’s planned to be smaller than the base game campaign, but I would perhaps keep expectations in check given just how much work they have to do for the rest of the game right now.

So much connectivity issues every day at 7-8PM… It seems like a lot of people are still playing.
Almost as good season 1 of the Witcher which ended up with 68, once they establish their Canon with season one, I’m hoping to see them explore it more.

Gamespot’s verdict dont see how gore can be a bad thing unless its unnecessary but based on what ive seen seems its averaging between B’s and C’s in grades and 6’s to 8’s in number scores all in all not too bad at all tbh
