In my experience about 10% of my matches my team stomps quickly, 10% is the opposite where we get slaughtered at spawn
The other 80% are the closest, most down to the wire, sweatiest games iv ever played in Halo lol

I would like some single player love thatās all.
Youāre not the only one by a long shot, but I wouldnāt go expecting random single player news as part of a season update. Thatās an E3 announcement if anything existed and it hasnāt sounded like it would be soon if there was something.

They gutted the writing, art and animation departments back in Januaryā¦ At the moment the studio is focused on multiplayer and the next single player campaign, whatever shape itās going to take, is only in pre-production.

People shouldnāt be expecting anything Campaign related to Halo until next gen
343 arenāt gonna have one anytime soon and even if somehow there were other studios doing spin offs, theyāll still be years and years away with how long it takes to make games now, it is what it is
Yeah, it be nice to get some single-player news soon though.
I agree it would be nice, but it also is EXTREMELY unlikely that weāre going to hear anything in the next year or 2 so Iām not expecting it.
Itās sort of how Iād like Fable to come out this week or perfect darkā¦ Iād love it but it isnāt happening.
Iām not on about a new game just would have liked some DLC

Itās very fun, although Iām finding it a bit too easy, maybe the map plays a factor but so far itās a bit easy
Kinda hope they add a āforeverā type mode as well, maybe make it so thereās limitless waves with each one getting progressively harder and as soon as the enemy captures 3 waves or maybe even just 1 wave itās game over

Had two games of firefight and loved the mode. I hope its popular so 343 can add more mechanics fir longevity

I forgot to mention this but over a week ago I had a games night at my place and the focus was to play a bunch of classic fighting games on a 360 hooked up to a CRT TV and with some fighting sticks but I also had my Xbox One and Series X setup on different screens and then on a whim I tried to see if 2 player split screen would work and it did!
So then I had two players on the Series X and two players on the One and I tried to join the same squad and that worked as well. But when we tried getting into a match, it would load up just fine on the Series console but not on the Xbox One. The Xbox One loaded far slower (and itās not just because it doesnāt have an SSD, I think I did something to that Xbox One when I hooked up and ethernet cable to it while the console was on because of a static discharge and so the hard drive is a bit slower than usual) So we couldnāt play together with that setup.
But then I thought why not try four players split screen on the Series console and that actually worked! So we played duck hunt and some silly forge maps and it was fun. At that point it was late so we called it a night but Iām looking forward to trying that again in BTB and other modes like husky raid so weāre playing against people online.
Used to host 16 player Halo LAN parties and this is a good sign that itās likely possible on the Series consoles. Though I would need three more Series X consoles and three more 4K TVs, which is out of my price range for the next few years. Itās really too bad that none of my friends, most of which had Xbox One consoles, have Series consoles.
