I can’t believe I teased a thing and no-one picked up on it.
Maybe you said it in British which few understand
Entirely possible, I admit!
Not easy to admit but learn from it and you’ll become great. I got to say, I do sense a vibe of good will from this upcoming update, like they’re giving us more deep dives and updates that warranted for many fans. I sensed a renewed morale.
Beat me to the story.
It’s been rough going this past year, but with the recent news it does sound like the team is starting to get a grip on the game.
It amazes me that despite the problems, the gameplay is still among the funnest I have in years. Just need the commitment that tells me the worth of my time. I don’t go bashing and such, but I do admit it needed help. I wish nothing but the best of them.
I think the studio might finally be in a good place.
Custom Games Browser confirmed for Season 3 and the team is looking to add Banished AI to forge. Nice.
Honestly a lot of good stuff coming to Infinite.
Forge is that powerful that even 343 calls it more of a game engine than a map editor.
Only point of disappointment is seeing that there’s no editing existing game maps in forge at launch, which is a little surprising given we saw that feature in the leaked betas - but of course there’s a big difference between functional in a leaked build and ready to ship.
Also it’s funny seeing them talk about their plans to integrate Banished, Covenant and Flood environment sets, my mind has been racing on all sorts of stuff I’ve wanted to make and I never stopped to consider making just a regular Covenant map . I guess if they don’t have the base assets ready for it yet that’s maybe why we haven’t seen as much diversity in map art styles so far? Assuming there’s some level of crossover in the production pipeline. Still, I’m glad to hear that’s coming as well alongside campaign AI being properly confirmed!
Agree completely, I think RT is way overhyped in general. Any of the console games such as Control that had a RT mode where the frame rate was 30 fps versus 60 fps without has been a super easy choice when I compared how awful the game felt by comparison and with little clear difference visually for me.
Because Frankly it is a game engine. They are just clearing out the clutter of the traditional software and making it user friendly and accessible. Its basically a strip down version of the engine. Those who has worked in game engines will find it more at home.
Folks, tomorrow is going to be the game changer for the Halo community, and as always, we’ve pushed to go above and beyond expectations.
Expect big things.
And yes, I’m teasing, but you’ll soon see why. Get hyped, because, well, I am hyped.
Do we know what time it goes live tomorrow?
Im in the UK so will be in my evening time or will it be in the middle of the morning since 343 is located in the US
As someone also in the UK, I’m expecting around 5-6pm UK time (but I don’t actually know.)
Are you teasing some new Forge features they have not shown yet ?
