Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

Hate to break it to you, but it’s not my call

Still, it’s another good video from Halo Canon.

I just thought it was funny you guys were discussing the very same subject.

Yea

Oh yeah, Cortana will never be the same as when she was with MC. She’s almost an AI goddess at this point. I don’t think she will be killed off in Infinite though.

I think the Weapon is a really clever way to make Cortana back with MC in a way that makes sense.

I’ll admit that I’m not familiar with the books. But yeah, that’s clearly where the story is going. I don’t know how they will dig into that ingame, but I’ll say that : I can’t wait.

the way they introduced her. The content and story wasnt wrong but the way they did was well you know the perseption. Its all a matter of how

Yeah, that was weird how they introduced her at the end of H5.

Anyone else get weird banding/posterization on maps like Standoff in Halo 3? The sky has this weird moving banding effect.

I’m back at it with some small stuff :

  • hood popping off of a Warthog :

  • Rocket smoke trail looks amazing :

  • The classic Halo CE logo flags returning :

classicHCEflag

  • When picking a weapon up, a small icon indicate the damage type (kinetic, energy…) :

  • Footprints :

These little details are a testament to how well the Slipspace engine can handle physics.

Woah wouldn’t of noticed footprints

To be fair, me neither. I saw it in a video.

But I didn’t see people mentioning damage type icons and hood popping off (I think it didn’t in the other games but I’m not 100% sure).

I love all the details that went into the game. It’s really taking form.

The Battle Pass being perpetual is huge for me, as I personally love a good BP system, but as I’ve been exploring the Game Pass library and basically rotating through a huge variety of games on the service, and always having something new to play, this has been incompatible with a GaaS that requires your constant attention because of FOMO.

Being able to pick up and complete the BP whenever I want is great and will ensure I play the game because of fun, not because I just want to grind (and eventually burn out).

My boys love Fortnite, but the “grind” for them at times has taken the fun out of it for them. So yes I think what they are doing with Halo Infinite is so awesome and will ensure that they are more willing to play it with Dad too

With halo infinite multiplayer being free to play I’m guessing that there will be a big incentive for gamepass users. I’m guessing that the battle passes will be free for members. What do you guys think.

No. Enough with the game being free and Game Pass doesnt entitle the battle pass.

Free tier of the seasonal pass, yes…obviously

Paid cosmetic only tier will have to be bought on it’s own, I’m sure

It’s the only extra money they can make on the game, besides the actual sales they get outside of gamepass

Surely as it’s free, they are incentivised to make money through the battle pass. Game Pass users already get the campaign at no extra cost.

I am sure there will be a handful of game pass cosmetics thrown in at launch, but they need to make money on the game.
