Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

Yup, it’s a big problem that is on par with Halo 5’s blank shots.

Devs explained why it’s that way. I think it doesnt make sense either, but sounds are mixed dynamically to allow more awareness on threats. It’s hard to explain but ennemies will be louder than everything else when they’re close to you and even more when shooting at you. I think that’s why you don’t hear your team mates even though they are right behind you sometimes.

Does anyone know if you can use the Repulsor to launch the flag in CTF?

I know you can do it with the Power Seeds, as my brother showed me that the other day and holy crap is that useful. Especialy when you need to get it over a high place, just throw it up and launch it further

Perhaps you can’t do it with the flag? I could see them deciding against it, because they found it too cheap? Not sure. Anyone know?

Which system?

Appreciate the Boosts, but that AR skin isn’t nearly as en flique as the black and gold Rockstar one I already have

Ahahahah

Sorry but no. This doesn’t match their explanation.

U can hear your teammates just as well if not more so. An enemy at full speed walk should make noise, and they are a threat. They need to make noise when fast walking, and jumping period.

The reason you don’t hear your teammates is because they are not sprinting. I think the devs did this to balance sprint. But that can be done still with noise from walking and jumping. Just reduce it by around 50% from sprinting.

I still feel like nades need a small damage buff. If they need to start everyone with 1 vs 2 to compensate so be it.

I think explosions in general need to looked at. Nades feel too powerful when thrown my direction and I’m not moving much. If I’m sprinting over the top of them the damage seams reduced. Same for rockets. I shoot rockets near non moving target and they die. When I shoot at the few of sprinting players they live more.

Could just be me on this one. Idk

I’ve been complaining about the footstep noise with enemies. It was so much louder during the flights. Not sure why it got dampened

And it’s not just regular movement. I’ve turned and noticed dudes sprinting right up to me, just by accident. Not because I heard them coming, because I didn’t hear a damn thing

OK, thank you for the answer. I don’t pay too much attention to sounds because of my setup right now (listening to music/podcasts while playing), so I don’t know. Maybe it doesn’t really work as intended right now ? I will look at it more carefully next time I play.

This exactly. If you are standing you get rocked by the blast. Meanwhile someone can run through the blast like nothing is there.

Yea you can, I do it often. Doesn’t work too well from a stand still but if you tap Y to juggle and then repulsor upwards you can get some serious distance on it.

Sounds like your xbox probs could do with a hard reboot, with the console on hold the power button on it for about 15 secs then wait a minute to turn it back on.

If it’s the console then why is it only Halo behaving that way?

I don’t know but it fixes most issues and takes just a few minutes of time to do, no harm in doing it.

This. Worth a try and doesn’t hurt.

My only Halo issue has been sometimes if I load on quick resume it’s like the game doesn’t reconnect to the servers. So I get an error looking for a match.

If I just bounce to the home menu, quit the game, and then load back up it’s fine. For some reason quick resume doesn’t like to keep the network connection or reset when I load back up.
