It’s pretty clear the developers focused everything on gameplay first. It’s probably why they have to “sacrifice” co-op and forge day one launch. Vanguard focused on content with untouched gameplay, hence the bragging on content size with 20 maps and all modes provided. Battlefield 2042 could have been like this game, but it ended up as an example of not polishing everything. 343 went for the best route.

I think people tend to forget it’s a “Beta.” I know they said this will bring the content from season 1, doesn’t mean everything is finalized. The playlists are obviously early start for us to get in. If anything, we are testing their system (Battle Pass, Playlists, etc.) before the official launch. Flight was there for gameplay, now we are up for the system. Let’s be grateful.

Its pretty clear the game wasnt ready a year ago and its barely making it past the finish line just now. Its nothing to do with gameplay that is conditioning the exclusion of those two things. Gameplay already looked good come the infamous E3 reveal.

Co-op is clear they didnt account for how an “open world” Halo game would change how it has worked across every other game in the series and forge we maybe talking a year long delay (nearly 2 from the og date). Mind you this was supposed to be a launch game for Series X|S.

It’s almost as if speaking up about a flaw within a game will get results. Have no clue why people are triggered at those pointing out a serious issue with the game.

Save the passive aggressive stuff for the people who are actually toxic about it, not giving constructive criticism.

Anyways, great to see 343 entrenched within the community, a healthy communication line between fans and devs will always make a game better in the long run.

Universal agreement progression was horrendous.

I don’t mind people speaking up about things they want fixed. I do think there are respectful ways to voice the opinion and very rude, disrespectful ways to do it. I do take issue with the latter if eggrecious.

I know, but the extra time was to make it smooth. Last year gameplay was likely greenlit because the system itself was pretty solid, despite visual was missing features. Down the line, they probably had a lot of more hurdles than they anticipated. I think they was going to release it Cyberpunk way, which would have been a major disaster. Phil made the right call. I know they have to make it this deadline as in no more delay, but rather than going for Battlefield 2042 route, they went with “save it for later.” We have witnessed too many games with many content fall flat, so despite some is locked away for clean-up, this would test if gameplay is still important rather than have the requirement they always want (Battle Royal, sad dad story, movie cinema over free control, etc.). I guess time will tell.

Absolutely. Being respectful is the key to any sort of discussions.

I know a lot of people are bummed at Forge not being in the game any time soon but I don’t think people realize how much a game changer Forge will be.

It’s easily going to be the biggest innovation Halo has ever did since they first introduced Forge itself.

People must have experienced too many games with radio silence feedback. I don’t even know if there’s any update on Battlefield 2042. Granted, the game isn’t out until tomorrow, but people need some guidance. That or people may have remembered the old 343 before the relaunch of MCC. I tend to believe when they came back to the light after what happened to Halo 5, which I think they went ghost for over a year, they did inner searching and started a new way to handle the approach. I also believe Joseph Staten joining the team is there to give them confidence boost. This is the same guy who was in a team that managed to make a rushed game work (Halo 2). If there’s anyone who knows the challenge and struggle, it would be him.

I can almost guarantee that they will, but that’s an entirely new system that requires testing. This is an easy solution for the time being until they can code/test/code more/test again a full new one.

When you walk through an enemy player it’s damn surprising. Me and a guy go to punch each other and instead go through. And it took like a good 2 seconds for us to acclimate and find each other again.

Because he is a huge halo fan, likes halo infinite. Has a big following. One of the most popular streamers.

Idk why everyone hates him so much. I think he is funny as hell.

Some people take his fake persona way too seriously. Another factor is therehas probably been way too much COD that made many people bored with him

I’ve always got a huge kick out of the guy, even though I strongly disagree with a lot of his gaming takes. Back in the early PUBG days, watching him and Shroud was fantastic. And their time with Apex was great too. Lately though, all the Warzone with Doc and Valorant with Shroud has been hard to stick with

Shroud uploaded a video on youtube titled “Halo Infinite is amazing” and the entirety of the video is him bitching about the game, not playing objective. And someone said that at the end of the stream a few days ago the game crashed on him and he said “I’m done, I wasn’t having fun anyway”. So looks like either clickbait or someone else entirely runs his channel without his own knowledge lmao

Watch how these marines communicate during Halo. Live, now!

The issue is that Xbox does listen and adjust which has led to people doing nothing but complaining. They jump from one complaint to the next in a never-ending whine-fest that turns off the people who have legitimate concerns because it gets drowned out in the cacophony of misery from the usual suspects.

He’s seemed pretty miserable lately with New World not turning out well. He tends to be like this with things though, hates them at first and then settles down and finds enjoyment. I’m sure when forge hits and a BR is made he’ll be in.

Still finding it insane that you get matched up to PC gamers, why there’s no input based across all modes is crazy. The one problem with xbox on PC is this forced crossplay. Bad enough in Forza but I guess the online ‘hacks’ will start for Infinite soon enough.

Reminder, show is tomorrow night at 6pm est with @Sikamikanico
