Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

I kind of like that it rotates through game modes. Keeps things fresh. Also provides variety in skills.

You can continue to do that, for those that don’t want to, dedicated playlists need to exist. Also, “rotate through gamemodes” is unreliable when in my experience, I kept getting the same CTF on Bazaar and Oddball on the Streets map.

I agree, bit I’d like quick play to stay this way

Yeah “Quick Play” tbh is a good descriptor for this current all encompassing playlist, you just launch the game and are ready to play whatever game throws at you. That’s honestly fun in its own way, but other dedicated playlists need to exist for those with more focused/chill goals, or even yourself who now wants to tackle a challenge and don’t want to rely on randomness to give you that mode.

It’s been happening to me too. It’s been really frustrating. I know there are a lot of new people playing halo but go to the big letter that isn’t your color is pretty self explanatory

What I also loved about Reach was the commendations, was hoping for something like that here but no

this is cool!

I think some people need to realize that times have changed and so has progression along the way. This isnt the early 2010’s in that regard.

The fact the only negative I see around is the battle pass progression proves how wonderful the game truly is. It’s not to say the game is pure flawless, rather how excellent it is in the game play department. It’s like how I see it for Skyrim; got bugs and all, but regarded as masterpiece to millions.

I was playing Vanguard before this surprise early release and I can tell you, it’s night and day difference in more ways than one. I was stacking up scores and even got MVP in my first try, but the joy was absent. The game play was fine, but it lacks heart and soul. You can have 20 maps, multiple modes, types, and what not, but if the game lacks the joy, what’s the point. They hammered that in, basically to tell gamers to forget Halo and Battlefield. Infinite may have small count maps in compare but incredibly satisfying above all.

I felt like Vanguard tried to be everything but Call of Duty. It has play of the match with visual like Overwatch, then MVP with visual like Overwatch (minus the visual), announcer shouts out killing spree like Halo, and so on. It’s weird because I remember it had its own identity back in Modern Warfare (original) with rocking soundtrack when leveled up, call outs on killstreaks, and so on. Call of Duty today lost its identity by being everything else. That brings me back to Halo Infinite.

This game is incredibly solid. The best part is it doesn’t follow a trend like hero classes, battle royal, etc. Instead, it does what it needed to be: Halo. Call me crazy but it feels like we haven’t gotten an Arena shooter in a long, long time. Many have become F2P and yes, while this game is one as well, the other doesn’t receive much exposure. It need to be Battle Royal. Honestly, that turned me off from multiplayer completely. As of now, I see a renaissance and it is glorious.

This is my first post. Pleasure to meet you all!

Has anyone flown a Hornet or Banshee in front of these to see if they blow you up?

Yea I agree the monetization and battlepass is my only one real problem with infinite

I bought those Chibi Blue team stickers and put them on my weapons and vehicles… Totally worth it. :flushed:

I dont even think monetization is bad. Its kinda the standard one across the board but yes the progression needs help.

I honestly think the battle pass system is a decent idea. The real problem is how slow it is. It can be fixed within the system, but it’s up to them on how to utilize it. Funny, because I thought in the flight, it felt quick and justifiable. Honestly, I was afraid it was going to be like in Killzone Shadowfall, where the game forced you to play all classes and guns in order to level up. That was an odd choice.

It’s smart for them to release it early in beta state because it allows them to iron out some issues. Once they get it done before the official release, hopefully, it will be unstoppable. It already is, but it will be even more so than ever.

I also think that tying all cosmetics, armor and stuff to the battle pass is kinda odd? Even Apex has stuff you can unlock outside of the BP that arent tied to it for example.

Yeah those HCS armors look so good. I like Cloud9 and Team Envy : that black and blue, it’s (master) chief kiss !
