I’m not liking the service record page. Doesn’t really tell you much. Halo 5’s was very in depth. Great game with great gameplay. Luckily most their issues are outside of gameplay.

So 5 matches in and I’m really enjoying myself, and as with everything I do with MP I’m taking it slow and playing a 2-3 matches every time I open the game. So I’ve gotten about 1 and 3/5 levels, and it seems that leveling is too fast for me, probably a result of the battle pass. Anyways, I was thinking that the game needs to have more stuff added to it as the season goes, and I still do, but I did notice that every spartan armor that you get has multiple unlocks with in the armor. So we would have to play with every armor available to be able to unlock everything. Still I think they need to add more reach related stuff as the season progresses, as well as more weapons to keep the sand box fresh, currently the game is lacking a good shotty as the bulldog just feels under whelming. The Hydra is a little better than I thought it was after using it in BTB, simply put regular fire works best when fight a Spartan, definitely better than Halo 5 in this regard as I would have to shoot the ground to get anyone with it. While alternate tracking missiles work better when targeting a vehicle, but it’s not as good as Halo 5’s tracking was so I would need to be more careful when I shot.
The game is also a big step back from Halo 5 in terms of seeing your stats, even in the official club that only displays your time played and achievements, while Halo 5 displays time played, matchmaking victories, Spartans killed, and Warzone bosses killed. In the actual in game stats are none existent outside of the end game results, and even then it’s a step back from Halo 5 because it doesn’t show you the full team results, just your own, and if you want to see how your team did you would have to look through their stats individually…

PSA: Unless you’re trying to play with friends on PC, even though there is no setting I can see to shut off crossplay, you can block it in the system settings on your console
- Go to your xbox settings.
- Scroll to account and click on privacy and online safety
- Click on xbox live privacy
- Click on view details and customize
- Click on communications and multiplayer
- Change “you can play with people outside of xbox live” to block
I did it for my last few matches and immediately my performance in matches improved. Why be at a disadvantage if you don’t have to be? And I was getting put in full lobbies just as quickly as before

Couldn’t Launch Site be also played as a BTB map ? Seems big for an Arena map.

Yea its really good
This touches on multiple topics so forgive me for that: I loved how the 20 year anniversary video captured the friendships made over Xbox Live. It’s true for me as well.
This tweet here, and its entire thread of people sharing stories about people making friends over Halo specifically, was pretty moving.
I know it’s just a videogame but I’m thankful to be able to play it.

It feels so smooth, I can’t get over it lol.
I hope they make separate modes that we can pick soon. It feels really barebones with just having 3 modes.

progression system in MP might take points from it if not changed, people not fan of it
This was highly predictable and I think 343 knew it as well, which is why they stressed that this first season will be a learning experience (even though the issues were pretty obvious). I can’t imagine that affecting the score though.
