Correct me if I’m wrong. Halo has an opportunity to be a GOTY candidate at the VGA’s as look as reviews come out by a certain date. Does anyone know the deadline date to be eligible?
-Edit
I answered my out question by checking the VGA website. Games must publicly be available by November 19th to be eligible for the game awards this year. Any game available after that wouldn’t be considered until the following year.
So I take it that the game has to be released in some form, not just reviews out. Here’s hoping that IF there is early access to the game that it starts at that date, however that seams unlikey as that’s more than 2.5 weeks fore the official release date.
The Xbox Game Studios with the spinny logo and the glint that transitions into the skies? I think that was shown unless that was part of the old leaks and I’m crossing my wires
yea the 343i part isnt a leak like i said before and not sure if the XGS was shown before so i have no idea once game goes gold im going dark from twitter and leaving that server
Opencritic will be combining them. The MP/SP are still not seperate on these websites though. And even their separation on the Xbox store is not where I’d like it to be.
The campaign is listed almost like DLC
On Game Pass, It says Halo Infinite (Campaign) - but the cover is the Multiplayer one.
Ya no way halo reviews are in time for the VGA’s Jeff grub pretty much just said on Twitter that the actual deadline for reviews is pretty much end of this week.
TGA’s are marketing, I hate that their awards seem to matter so much. Most sites (ours included) will do lists in January for the previous year because it’s the only way to give everything a fair shake.
