I mean, they even showed huge campaign spoilers in this trailer, but no a picture of a snowy place or something. I think it’s pretty clear is only that biome

Do you mean a completely new game with that? Like a spin-off? Because I think in terms of mainline Halo this is it for ten years, right? If that’s still the plan.

Or did you mean the future updates for Infinite?

they made it seem like they would be releasing additional story in installments over the next decade.

I’m not so sure we’re getting much variety in biomes at launch.

I hope there’s more variety. If the campaign ends and I had spent 90% of my time in that same valley that’d suck. We’ll see what’s what on December 8th.

After that very first trailer, the engine trailer it’s disappointing that foliage is so static, doesn’t seem to move at all. And I could swear it was fully swaying in that trailer.

I don’t really understand why this is when we have tons of games today that have it, even indie games really. Swaying foliage is something we even had in Xbox and 360 games.

The foliage moves, but it is very subtle (look at the trees).

On paper I agree. But I’m trying to think of how they can add things in their supposed 10-year plan since this isn’t like a live service loot-based game. New biomes is one easy thing they could do.

Guys, seriously. I was dreaming about Halo and what it could be. And it was exactly like this. Calling in vehicles and all that stuff. I am so freaking happy with what they have shown today. This will be the best game ever for me.

Just a random wishlist I thought of just now:

• Take a few pages out of MGSV and use the UNSC Infinity as Mother Base to rescue the marines you find on the planet. Reintroduce a character akin to Foe Hammer that you can call in to pick them up.
• Ability to call in drops(Scorpions, ODST, those OG weapon pods from CE,and etc.)
• Covenant outposts.
• Reintroduce the flood and turn a section of the map into a flood infested nightmare zone. I want to fight flood rhinos and deer.
• I think the Halo 3 armor kind of hints at this but let me use different armors. Poncho Chief has to be one of the options.

It does? But if they do have it in there I hope they pump it up a little. There’s just something about foliage in games gracefully swaying in the wind, or in some cases not so gracefully but still beautiful in Witcher 3, haha.
