After playing halo wars 2 I would say atriox is by far the best villain of the franchise. If infinite is indeed a 10 year game than the entire conflict with atriox should be resolved with infinite even if it happens post launch in an expansion.

Looks like my suspicious thinking come true. They:

…need to sell the game to casuals (and COD/BF peeps) who are ready to jump-in to Vanguard/2143 in the next few days/weeks. You can bet your arse that most of them don’t give a flying S about the stellar (and FTP) multiplayer when then think, “oh well I’ll check it out after I finished/bored with Vanguard/2143.”. 343 and MS know this
…wanna sell another bunch of toys/mini-figures which most are campaign-related stuff (like past year’s megablock sets). Announcing it at the 15th event already too late because again their target isn’t just the core Halo fans. So don’t be surprised if they reveal Cortana in just a fee hours because they wanna announce & sell her mini-figures & related stuff to masses ASAP.

they ran away with most of the remaining Huragok. They must be biding their time. They’re smart, surely they must be preparing their return sooner or later.
