You will be able to play against bots if you choose. It’s designed for training new players but you can do it to learn maps etc I guess.

I’m not a big fan of the the pulse carbine or commando. I like the BR a lot. I want to see both the dmr and normal carbine.
At launch, bots can be played with at any difficulty you want (Recruit, Marine, ODST, Spartan) in any mode you want. Have them on your team, have them be on the opponent team, both possible. Also, they slot into places where people leave matches or if there aren’t any to fill a spot.

Just finished two straight hours of playing. I have not played any online shooter in well over a decade, so it took the first hour to figure out the basics. Oscar_343 and Mickey_343 definitely ate my lunch initially. But I did improve and got my K/D into positive territory consistently during the second hour. Game is tons of fun and feels great to play.
I was playing on Series X and did not notice any bugs at all. I’ll try on PC later to compare.

Im certainly playing better today compared to yesterday, where the max kills I could get were 4-5, today Im getting comfortable 9-10 on average. I had given up on Halo MP and thought fuck it, imma just wait for campaign but now Im feeling good about at least doing good against bots.

Watching a stream right now and I didn’t see this player climb/clamber at all. Probably just him not using it, or can you not climb in MP?
you can clamber yes. Not sure how that person was traversing the map efficiently without it lol

lol loving the hammer, but fr, the ragdoll needs to be added and amplified, makes no sense that meleeing someone shoots them into another galaxy but the grav hammer just drops them in place.

He was playing in that interior map and he was killing it too, wow. Makes me jelly a little because I kinda… suck, lol.
This is the most classic Halo game and FPS (not just Halo) has been since Halo 3. You are never going to get H3 again because it is by large, outdated. If you don’t like this then yes, I would say you have nostalgia goggles on (no shade) or have moved past competitive FPS MP.

Yes! Love how the colours are!
I’m pretty pleased with infinites graphics. The build is 2 months old. So about 5 months from finished product. Will still see some minor improvements probably.
And this is just the multiplayer. singleplayer will probably look very good.
The Commando is not very exciting to use whatsoever.
Some people are digging it. I’m ass with it personally.
