Halo campaign spoiler thread (DO NOT ENTER IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS)

He was within a special time-locked capsule, a highly advanced device.

That doesn’t sound like a compelling counter argument tbh…

The ring’s effects destroyed the stasis capsule but not the entity inside.

Wow damn shame

It is.

To clarify, your argument is ā€˜well it is super advanced tech designed to help what is inside survive the ring firing!’, correct? Yet the actual ā€˜super advanced tech’ itself falls apart upon encountering that ring’s firing. Does not compute.

This is fake, but imagine a thick snow level in Infinite some day… :stuck_out_tongue:

I loved the story in this game. Im not sure how I feel about Newtana calling herself Cortana. Could be confusing. I feel like the harbinger should of lived as she could of been a good villan. Atriox continues to be a cool character and im glad he isn’t dead. I hope he doesn’t die. I do hope all the spartans from halo 5 lived red team and blue. I loved newtana and the pilot. the 3 of them felt more like a team than blue team. I feel like they did a good job of explaing what happened between 5 and 6 but I hope they explore it more in the dlc. When do you guys think the next campaign will come? how many do you think we get? you think we get a campaign where we play as diffrent charaters like atriox or maybe blue team fighting the guardians.

I just beat the game, just read through this entire thread and didn’t see this answered.

Essentially a lot of the lore is being covered here and my question is extremely basic. My question is like if someone asked what ā€œ7-3=?ā€ in a linear algebra class. :grimacing:

There are various parts in the game where I see a dead UNSC soldier by a red button, usually off in some random part. I hit the button to ā€œactivateā€ but I don’t know what it does. When I did it in the final level where the Banished had their training sections, I found another dead soldier at the top of a concrete training platform with a red button and when I pressed it I did hear a sound effect in the distance but I don’t know what it did.

I’m posting this here because I don’t want to ruin the campaign for anyone by posting it in any other thread. This is more of a gameplay question than a lore question.

Also the weapon needs to call herself ā€œKatrinaā€. ā€œTinaā€ for short. There needs to be more Tinas in sci-fi.

Actually reading through this thread I noticed YouTube being an incredible resource so I searched for this on YouTube and found an answer:

So I guess every area has a certain number that you want to press to call in some air support. I’ve been pressing them throughout the campaign but not enough in an area to reap its benefits.

The skiff is likely an unplayable vehicle for the desert-themed DLC. It was also shown in the Megablox set that referred to it as an unplayable vehicle appearing in Halo Infinite.

I encountered 2 destroyed Skiff during my walkthrough.

How many did ya find? I only found the 3 at Outpost Tremonious and the 2 in the lead up to fighting Escharum. That pair didn’t seem to do anything but I might have missed a 3rd one or something.

I found 4 or 5 throughout the campaign but didn’t realize that you need to do 3 or 4 in each area for a specific effect.

Pretty cool though. Previous Halo games rewarded exploration and there’s so much to explore here, I loved it. Going through caverns found off the beaten path and so on, it was fun.

I wouldn’t have time to catch up on all the books and stuff, but all this lore makes me hope the the TV show follows the books in terms of representing its depth. We saw that with Game of Thrones and The Expanse, with the Expanse having the benefit of having the endings spelled out in the books before the show. And in these situations the TV show strays from the books a little bit, but the oral story isn’t sacrificed. So I’m hoping the same for Halo.

Also if there’s anyone here who hasn’t watched The Expanse, now is the perfect time to start with the entire series wrapping up in 3 weeks. It’s the best sci-fi hands down. I didn’t think anything could top Battlestar Galactica. It also has videogame roots, as it was meant to be the basis for a videogame series.

Please be it the Spirit of Fire (assuming this wasn’t cut because this UNSC friendly signal is a scrapped idea or whatever).

I don’t think that’s Arbiter or Swords of Sanghelios (UNSC signal).

If Locke… meh.

I went with Adjutant Resolution just because of the music, it’s really great. Jega 'Rdomnai comes close because of the creepy atmosphere of the fight, which I really like.

when i encountered jega big smile came across my face told him to bring it on motherfucka

I hope it’s Agent Jaxon.

Spirit of Fire is on the Ark, it’s extremely unlikely. It should be someone from Infinity (Lasky, Palmer, Locke, Halsey, Blue Team, etc…).
