Apart from the story, the mysogyny, the lack of nuance and cameos from industry “chums” I found Death Stranding amazing
Its more like Elite or Truck simulator than anything else to me, a gorgeous world with a great soundtrack and for me a fun loop of planning, journeying and cashing in. I would love a sequel or something similar
I actually played pretty much all of his titles including the lesser known ones like Snatcher and Policenauts (I actually just played that one last summer, on a Sega Saturn with a CRT and the light gun. It was an awesome experience.), But I actually haven’t touched Death Stranding. Maybe if it came to PC Game Pass (I think it’s possible as 505 Games published the PC port, not Sony), but otherwise I don’t think I will.
Forza Tech do have an excellent streaming/lod solution that was improved a lot over this gen. The density and fidelity increase coming from FH2 to FH4 is nothing short of incredible and is able to pull that data even in incredible high traversal speeds.
Not sure how hard it would be to port that to Unreal though, could also be a lot easier than to port the insane amount of tools UE4 has to Forza Tech.
Agree with this. In addition, referring to your comment on MLB, if a Kojima game went into Gamepass it will give people the opportunity to discover without the upfront cost of £60.
I reference MLB because I for one, living in the UK, have very little knowledge or interest in baseball. However, I will definately give this a go through Gamepass and I may end up loving it. Same could be true for many other gamers and also would apply to Kojima games.
This is great for players who can discover new experiences with minimal risk and great for the Dev for the same reason.
