There’s a reason gamepass seemed to have middling or at least slowed growth in the first 6 months of last year
A lot of the games they got were clearly good for gamepass and definitely kept people subscribing but they werent good/big enough to get new subscribers
All the indie games and AA games that gamepass get I feel are good way to keep current subscribers happy with the service but to get those new subscribers in you need big games and considering all of MS’s big gmaes arent dropping till the summer or later, these next few months are when they should be going for deals as hard as possible
MLB was a deal cut with The Publisher for a sport that needs an audience and is losing interest fast in America. Also outside of The Americas nobody gives a SOUL about baseball besides Japan and Korea.
But no saying this causes too much of a shitstorm. I want game pass to grow and xbox to get better and I wanna feel my game pass ultimate sub pays off like any subscription service.
Look can all us old timers just look forward to something that made us happy back when we were younger? As a PC player of the time, I had no need to play an FPS on console. Quake, Duke 3D, who the hell cared about a bloody console? But hey guess what, Goldeneye came and absolutely blew them away. You may think its dated now, and that’s because it is. Shock horror, things age. But at the time it was doing things nothing else was, including locational damage and feedback, rumble on shots fired, and a damn 4 player deathmatch on a TV in your living room.
Yes, the PC was a beast. But to ignore how important Goldeneye 64 was at the time is just ignorant.

I’m someone who doesn’t play that much gamepass and I wish it had more games i like but I would never question its value. Even if I play a couple of games a month on it uts worth it for the 2 to 3 full priced AAA titles. Scarlett nexus is barely 3 months old and it’s on there.
You are absolutely entitled. Questioning why you should play certain games. You don’t have to play anything. Gamepass has shit ton of great games. I don’t see what the problem is. I think you’re just delusional about where the gaming market is now and think you should get every game on the service.
Ms are basically doing the opposite of what nintendo are doing and giving people value for money be it through gamepass or rewards program. They’re doing a shit ton.

Let’s put things into perspective. Gamepass isn’t this miracle thing. It’s insane value for money. But people want more for less. I’m sure you can write to Ms and tell them you’re willing to pay 25 bucks a month for more
I don’t remember much about goldeneye multiplayer been so long said the same thing about timesplitters till I was playing them again after I bought them off the store
