Seems like John is completely blown away by FH5 he even calls it masterwork.
Yeah havenât seen him that impressed in a long, long time.
FH5 looks absolutely ridiculous. Itâs low-key criminal if they donât somehow repurpose that open world into an experience where you can get out of the car and walk, soak in and appreciate all the gorgeous scenery, details of both visuals and sound they built. It feels somewhat wasted on a racing game no matter how much I really, really love it. Also, Fable is gonna be jaw dropping isnât it
So its native 4k in both modes? Normally I would go straight to 60fps mode, but the way they describe the 30fps I will definitely have a look at it. Either way, this is hands down the best looking game this gen so far!
I cannot wait to see what forests with beautiful morning sunlight shining through loooks like in Fable, good lordy lord is it going to melt .
What is said about the 30fps mode? And native 4K would be amazingly impressive. Kinda wish theyâd lower that slightly for performance mode so we can have less pop in and all that jazz. Unless they had to drop resolution badly.
1440p@60fps quality mode would be perfect. High IQ, Performance, and visual settings. Resolution wh0res can keep their 4K.
Locked 60
Say no more
Sheesh, resolution whores? I feel hurt now, lol.
Nah.
1440p for me is a bit too soft, Iâve noticed that in some games like Psychonauts 2 where performance mode with 120hz is just a tad too soft, or Witcher 3 with performance mode too. It has to do mostly with my viewing distance, but the way I got my living room set up now I canât place the TV further.
Anyway, Iâd say 1800p or so, but then I wonder how much they can realistically improve visually. But it seems this might not happen anyway and they stick with native, gotta say I didnât expect native for either mode, impressive as hell.
Agreed, feel the same about res. 1800 and up looks great on a 4k set. 1440p is a bit low. Not unplayable of course, but you always see it.
Yeah DF mentioned this previously how 1800p is when you start to get into the territory of âthis looks good on a 4K TVâ and I concur.
I really noticed it with Control too, it just isnât that crisp.
Doesnât Control reconstruct from even lower resolution to do 1800p, like their previous games Quantum Break and Alan Wake? QB looks very soft even at 1080p output resolution on SeriesX compared to any other 1080p game.
Edit: Or do you mean control as a 1440p game not looking crisp and quite soft? I first took your post as Control being 1800p.
Thereâs feature parity between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with Control rendering at a native 1440p resolution, with temporal upsampling to 4K.
It sure as hell reminds me of QB too when it comes to image quality. I didnât get far yet though but it just doesnât look as crisp as say⌠Psychonauts 2 in 120hz mode.
Yep I meant 1440p
30FPS with Motion Blur and all the graphics.
F****ING FIGHT ME 60FPS Bros.
Youâve been playing too many Kinect 360 titles lately.
F I L M I C
Look I paid 500+ bucks for this thing and I want my graphical bang for my buck.
