Game Pass adds 3 games, 2 only on PC

It’s not a given yet but ever since 2021 during TGS every year we had some strong drops. Don’t expect the world, but there should be some drops. I’d be kinda shocked if there aren’t.

Im hoping we get Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth announced into the service but can’t decide if that is too optimistic…

Yeah, it’s quite possible that we see some Japanese games drop into the service during the TGS.

Also I was under the impression that Frostpunk 2 would also be on console too day one, I guess they are planning to release the console versions later down the line. About the Activision back catalogue (and not CoD in particular) I guess maybe they are planning to add more games during the fall? we’ll see I guess.

Oh wow.

For me, I had Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn in July, have to get back to Hellblade 2 at some point, played all the old Halo games so I didn’t have to buy them and have the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Stalker 2 and Indiana Jones games to round out 2024.

So excluding the old Halo games because those games are well, old, the total of the above would have cost me $290 if all bought day one which they probably would have been. And since im all digital, that’s the actual cost. No trade ins here anymore.

I’m set with Game Pass Ultimate until July 2027. Cost me $15 per month so $540 total. Subtracting the $290 I would have spent and the cost is down to $250 which I could get back by next summer if Avowed, Doom and South of Midnight release by then along with one or two third party games.

These things are of course super individual. Most of the things I’m interested in this year is outside of Game Pass.

STALKER 2 I pre-ordered a long time ago to support the devs as much as possible, otherwise that is one more game that I would’ve counted. Indy… I don’t know, it will probably be a good game but not a day one must for me.

Next year looks better indeed with Avowed allready in February. If I get South of Midnight and Fable too I’m set.

Agreed. It’s all individual based.
