Glad to see the fix for ray tracing weirdness and flickering which I did notice on occasion.

Still waiting for Road Atlanta and Tsukuba, I hope those are part of the plan!

I feel like it happened maybe once every 10 races or so, and strangely it always seemed to resolve after the first lap.

I love Forza, it was my most anticipated game of this year after its reveal last year; But boy is it boring! There’s no life in it, Forza even though very different from the Horizon games have always felt vibrant and full of energy. The career mode in this one is so boring, my goodness. I’m loving the feel of the cars on the tarmac but everything else is just bland.

I wasn’t expecting a story mode in the game, but I did expect a lively career mode, especially with the first reveal with the pit crew and the cars in the garage; I thought we would have seasons and an aim for championships. But instead it’s this sterile atmosphere and these mundane car specific categories. I love the mustang but I couldn’t care less about driving 7 races in a fox body.

Maybe it’s me and my expectations, but I’m so let down with the game. That sense of atmosphere from the first reveal trailer is missing from the final game. I just want a more engaging game and the ability to mod my car as I see fit. Not sure why I’m locked to minor upgrades on cars, such a stupid decision.

The idea of a CarPG had a ton of promise but it was horribly designed.

I am liking the career mode because it puts you in a lot of interesting situations The combination of car, track, time of day, and weather is really good a lot of the time.

But yeah there was an opportunity for a bit of story in a career mode. For being a “reset” on the game (instead of Forza Motorsport 8) they had an opportunity to do that.

So much of that would have been really obvious in terms of design.

Forza Motorsport always had only a tiny bit of fluff around the career, but the builders cup is specially thin this time. I don’t mind it that much because in the end you drive around a circuit 99% of the time in all these games. But there is not even a championship celebration at the end of each series. I’m also missing the custom race length options from FM7.

There is a lot of work to be done. The fundament is great and i enjoy racing but Turn 10 didnt fulfil all promises or potential.

I put over 100 hours into Forza Motorsport, but when I watched the video of the new track my first thought was “isn’t this already in the game?” which points to one of my major issues and disappointments in this reboot: 99% of the tracks are extremely samey and it makes me feel like I am on the same track endlessly.

I really love this game and still play it daily. Great info seems they are going to address the issues people have with it.
